I think this arguement is well and truly sorted out now. Henry should be playing VFL and Hansen looks like one of the best young forwards in the comp.

And who would you have replace H at CHF?

As it stands, H is the best option we have right now. I find it amusing how some accept the fact that a player like Ottens needs weeks to settle in, yet someone like H, who is still learning the position with every game, isn't given that same leniency.

WRONG. Hansen may be ahead of H , as Ive said he has the edge in kicking but H is still learning to play the position as well as developing as a player. When Ben was asked to play forward he'd basically developed as a player in the Backline and only had to learn to play forward. Let H learn the position, let him make mistakes, let him develop as a player and believe in himself. Yes he has been quiet the last couple of weeks, Id love to see him come out and really dominate it would lift his confidence and as well as others around him but even if he doesnt we must keep grooming him for next year and beyond.

Sorry, my mistake, I thought there was a position called centre half forward in the VFL. Obviously i am wrong, AGAIN.

I would play Mooney at CHF this week with Gardiner next to him. A two pronged attack. If Mooney fails I would like to see Lonergan given a chance. When has Henry ever been in our best players??? Play him in the VFL and when he starts kicking 3 goals a week and taking ten marks at that level, then bring him in. I also can't work out why Lonergan is playing in the backline in the VFL.

mooney as a key forward? can we not remember why bomber experimented with making Cam into a backman ?

Hello , Jack are you out there. What did you think of his work on on Sunday . 30 or so games in , Playfair is marking well now but he is going to be a mark machine for us in another year or so. He is learning the position but more importantly the others are learning to go to him. Every week they trust him more. Playfair is giving us more than fair play

Has definately improved in the past 2 weeks. I think he was great on Sunday, and has improved his kicking. Would still take Hansen, but the gap is closing.

Three goals and eight marks on Sunday - AFL level.

Because the 2s are stacked with players with less flexibility (Garth, Haynes) and he will get more opportunities. As we saw Sunday, Tom is a better forward than backman.
