Great news about the headset, that'll save some cash.

Just preordered Watch Dogs, FIFA14 and BF4 for launch to go with my console and second DS4. All I have to do now is pay for it all and fap myself into oblivion.

'Sony's PlayStation 4 has been passed by the FCC, meaning the retail version of the console is already deemed viable for sale to the American public.
Engadget reports that the accompanying documents reveal a "max clock frequency" of 2.75GHz, which gives us an idea of how much power the box is packing.
What's more interesting though is the fact that the PlayStation 4's operating temperature is listed as being between five and 35 degrees Celsius, which is cooler than the PS3. While Sony's current console is meant to run between 45 and 55 degrees Celsius, if it peaks at over 60 degrees you could encounter the infamous Yellow Light of Death, which essentially reduces your PS3 to a paperweight.
That's not to say there's no chance of similar issues with the PlayStation 4, of course, but it does mean that you should be more comfortable playing games during the warmer months of the year.
The only other piece of interesting information is that the PS4 looks set to weigh around 2.8kg, which is significantly lighter than the original fat PS3 which was 5kg'

Is there anywhere in Melbourne that still have guaranteed day 1 consoles available? Jb have taken it off there site and EB doesn't have the guaranteed ones. Dick Smith looks to be an option.

Not sure what this is? it's probably not the CPU clock speed.

Quick question, not sure if anyone would know.
I understand they said that your PSN from PS3 carries over to PS4 but is there a time limit on that?
Like, if I don't get a PS4 within a month of it being out, would my PSN username become available for someone to take?

Won't be a problem work exactly the same as the vita does, just link your account to the new system, whether that be in a week after launch or 3 years.

I avoid buying charging docks but this would be tempting to grab

It would be good if the controllers were similar to those cleaning robots (such as the Roomba), where, when they realise the battery is low they find their own way back to the charger. I don't want to have to get up off of my couch to put my controller on to charge. Make it happen Sony.

yeh no idea what "clock frequency" means
Well a CPU clock frequency is the measurement of Herz or pulses per second. But the PS4 won't run it's CPU at 2.75Ghz because of it's low power consumption and small size (heat/ cooling).

Apparently it's the GDDR5 data clock speed.

So clock frequency is the same as clock speed?
