A cynical view would be they're starting to reshuffle their offerings to push users to particular subscription tiers. For now I'm assuming it's the end of a timed licensing thing with Atlus.

PS+ Collection is just a PS5 user bonus. If that was the case then God of War (an actual announced game for the new service) would be taken off too.

They upgraded the version of FF15 at the start, might be the same thing coming here especially if Persona 5 releases on other platforms.

I've read that we won't be getting the abilty to stream PS3 games our tiers will be slighty diffrent to America we will still have access to PS1,PS2,PSP games as downloads tho

That’s correct, regions that don’t have PS Now won’t get PS3 games. Pretty sure the sub is cheaper for us as a result of this though.

Slay the spire is excellent if anybody hasn't played it yet. So simple but it gets more complicated and challenging as it progresses and before you know it there goes 50 hours. A really relaxing turn based card game where the solution is in your hand or could have been...

It will be interesting if they offer yearly sale discounts, otherwise it's starting to look a bit steep if you buy most new releases anyway when they come out.

Just had a look at the top meta critic games for PS1 and PS2 and there are some absolute bangers in there, just depends on what they include.

I’ve never played a Metal Gear Solid game so that’s something I’m hoping is on there.

After 12+ months of truly shit months, PS Plus suddenly drops the latest game of one of the most popular sports video game franchises in the world to entice people to join PS Plus if they don’t have a running subscription/haven’t purchased the latest FIFA. Nothing like a new service coming out soon to show people you still give a shit.

I'd happily take a cheap tier that's just for online services. They can jam their monthly pittance and I have no interest in any of the new tiers. I can see how if PS is your primary platform some might find some value in it, but compared to subscription services on other platforms I can't justify it what so ever.

For those that haven't used Gamepass, it is a win and probably seems like the same thing, but yeah, if you are already on the Gamepass hypetrain it really is a pittance.

Not just Gamepass, but EA Play Pro and Ubi+ too. Granted different platforms but the yearly price is one or two new releases then the back catalogue is a bonus.
