That’s great that you are able to purchase them rather then paying for a sub scription

I was bummed out that PS3 games weren’t available for us in Australia but then remembered that a lot of the main Metal Gear Solid, Ratchet and Clank and God of War games were PS1/PS2/PSP games. You would think that classics like those should be on the new service.

The list of games of games in the Asia region has been released and the classics are pretty underwhelming.

So only 50 of the projected 300+ Classic games have been listed, hopefully there's more quality injected. Really needs more PSP, Konami and Capcom stuff. Toy Story 2 is a nice surprise.

There's a bit of value there, stuff I've either played before but wouldn't buy again, and a few things I wouldn't necessarily buy, but could play a few hours on.

There's nothing amazing, but if you hadn't played/purchased some of the big games like Spiderman, RDR2, Horizon, God of War, Batman, Uncharted, etc. that would be a big win as included games.

What I'm probably most keen for is games I wouldn't commit to buying but wanted to give them a go, risk free.

Examples I like are
Age of Wonders: Planetfall
GHOST OF TSUSHIMA: DIRECTOR'S CUT (PS5)
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy (PS5)
Mortal Kombat 11 (PS5)
NBA 2K22 (PS5)
Pathfinder: Kingmaker - Definitive Edition
Saints Row: The Third Remastered (PS5)
Space Hulk: Tactics

If I can get some hours out of those, it'll be pretty decent value.

I wonder if they count games like Spider-man: MM (ps4) and spider-man: MM (ps5) as two separate games in their "Over xxx games" comments.

I will play the shit out of that again, especially if they add trophies.

Dino Crisis plssssss

From what I've been reading it seems like select games will have trophies depending on the developer / publisher until the rest are added through Sony's trophy tool. Toy Story 2 with trophies (although basic) would be a hell of a lot of fun.

Ghost of Tsushima is a masterpiece and
Guardians of the Galaxy is criminally under rated, definitely worth a go.

Death Stranding falls into this category for me.

Only rumoured still but lol

JUNE’S PLAYSTATION PLUS ESSENTIAL GAMES (RUMOURED)

  • Nickelodeon All-Stars Brawl (PS5/PS4)
  • God Of War (PS4)
  • Naruto Boruto: Shinobi Striker (PS4)
Whilst God of War is included in the PlayStation Plus collection, it’s important to note that this is only available to PS5 members, so this makes God of War free to all PS4 owners on PlayStation Plus as well.

Seems like Sony has half arsed the PS1 emulation which is disapointing.

They are using PAL 50hertz games which run at 30 frames (which are laggy and slow) as opposed to the NTSC versions which run the games at 60. Sony apprently released a patch to make games runs at 60 but all it did is cause more emualtion problems like ghosting lols

Looks like some accounts will start rolling over to the new PS+ today but unfortunately I’m not one of them.

Can’t wait to get back into Returnal!
