Getting very close to pulling the pin on Plus.

Not gaming as much as I used to anyway and it's hard to keep justifying the cost when they keep raising it.

MLB.TV costs $230 a year and there is hours of use most days that the standard baseball fan will end up getting out of it. PS Plus is set to cost $215 a year for the highest tier, and it feels like a losing battle to decide what games you might want to play when they drop every month. No way am I re-subbing when my Plus expires.

I'm happy enough with it that I'd renew every black Friday in November (providing there are still discounts then).

I get value for the money spent, wouldn't have paid (full price) the games that I've played from the catalogue. And the amount of $$ the games I've played from the subscription are worth is in the thousands now.

This was my plan however last year I am pretty sure you couldn't get the discount if you were already a subscriber. I am now worried that since Sony game 5 days extra plus to people for an outage that didn't even affect me as I was away that I'll miss the sale this year.

Those unwanted 5 extra days will end up screwing over a lot of subscribers for the reason you’ve said.

I almost topped up a second year as doing so was still the same price as my first sub (worked for others on whirlpool as well).

But yeah I let my subscription expire early on, specifically to time resubscribing under the black Friday pricing. But as already mentioned those extra 5 free days may trip up a lot of discount subscribers. Should be safe if the promo price period is a week!!

I regularly have 3 or 4 on rotation. My game I always come back to, currently Marvel Rivals, previously Rocket league. A sports game of some kind. Currently its EA PGA Tour. Am playing through Oblivion and Star Wars Jedi at the moment and have an a little indy game ready for short sessions. Currently thats Blue Prince.

As someone who doesn't buy games day one anymore, PS Plus has hours and hours of content for me.

I can have 20 games on the go at any time!!

Mostly games that are good for quick bursts just the dame as long sessions (Rocket League, Injustice 2, MK 11, AFL 23, Cricket, WWE 2K, Madden etc. Driving games, platformers, story driven titles. PS+ is value for money for me.

Gave Dragon Age a break to try Oblivion. Just cant get into it so back on Dragon Age and having a ball. Personally a few good months from PS+ recently.

Quite enjoying this now. Maybe about half way through i reckon. Huge game. A little repetitive after a while like an assassins creed but the combat is so much fun it hasn't got boring yet. The Kurosawa mode is gold for any duels you get into like the 6 blades quest. Have the difficulty on hard. Thinking of taking that higher but feel like I'll just get my arse kicked.
