I think only the PS4 is free, otherwise it would say cross play/cross buy. We will know in 2 weeks, worst case scenario if you want the free games get someone on BF you trust with a PS4 to log in as you and put them into your DL list.

Get to work.

The PS4 games are only in the PS4 store so if you are getting a PS4 next year you will miss out on Resogun and Contrast if they are no longer free when you get a PS4. a sony guy said you cant put them in the download list with out a PS4.

I think he might be wrong i would hope you can use the PC store to put them in the Download List, otherwise it would suck for those who miss out on Resogun for Free.
Pretty sure it'll show up on the online PS Store. More likely bad wording surrounding the way they're trying to say it'll be on the PS4 PS Store and not on the PS3 Store. All content still shows up on the browser store though. Worst case, use the PS App?

I'm most excited about Guacamelee!

Same here.
Almost bought it when it released but couldn't justify it with the lack of time i had at the time.

Hopefully once ps4 releases they keep a nice stream of solid games coming like they have had with ps3.

The value i have gotten out of ps+ in the almost 2 years? since getting it is staggering!

Pants get access to Bender's PSN...Pants purchases PS+ Freebies...Pants purchases every item in the PSN store...Lulz ensue...

Shhhhhh

My PS3 has sat unused for the last 18 months so I wasn't even aware of the instant game collection. Just signed up last week, pretty great system.
I intend to buy a PS4 at some point down the track, am I right in thinking that I can 'buy' PS4 games now via the free games on psn+ and they will still be there for me when I do buy the new console?

Correct, they will be there as long as you subscribe to PS+. You will have to search for them though as they won't show up on the list until you have a PS4 registered to your account. The two I know of are Contrast and Resogun...Not sure if there is more.

It's easily the best investment I've made in gaming and I've basically had a gaming system in my household since birth. I was actually wet nursed by my brothers Commodore 64.

I got it in April of this year and now have 35 games (I had to get my HDD upgraded). I can't justify spending $100 on a game regularly enough to satisfy how much I like to play games and PS+ has been awesome in that respect. Plus I get to play a variety of games I wouldn't have played before coz I wouldn't have paid for them.

Awesome, may as well grab the Vita ones too, who knows, might buy one in the future.

Do the games ever rotate back in or have I missed the boat on things like ICO?
The variety seems great, but I think I've signed up at a pretty weak time, other than Uncharted 3, which if it is as good as the last one will pay for the years subscription by itself.

No they don't unfortunately. I missed about a year of subscription from it's release (I didn't even know it existed) and am spewing at what I missed out on. But like you said it pays for itself within 2 months, and if you're like me and only really get about 5 hours or so of gaming in an average week, it's hard to keep up with the releases.

That's a shame, ah well, many of the ones I missed will be in the bargain bins in the next few months anyway.

If you ever decide to cancel your PS+ you lose access to those 35 games, right?
