Is it similar to the MGS slasher that was up recently?

I didn't play much of that, but I found this to be better than MGRising Revengence.

Not really.

Devil May Cry is more refined IMO, gun play is worked into the core mechanics a lot better and combat seems more layered you have power and moves allotted to the L2 & R2 buttons which really add to the combat.

The non combat gameplay is a lot better in the fact that it throws you into surreal sections where the landscape shapes and morphs to try and kill you. Which essentially makes the platforming and progression feel more dynamic.

MG Rising has a more interesting parry system though.

I'm happy with getting Outlast, but I wouldn't mind having another game on PS+. I know I'm being greedy but I do understand it hasn't been long since launch.

Metro is such a good game aswell. I can't wait for February 5th.

Started up DmC last night, finished the first mission.
Awesome reboot of the series, just as the fun as the original ones (played all except DMC2)
