PES is immensely woeful these days. Nostalgia doesn't hold up with what they've done to it now.

Might not notice the issues as much if you haven't played FIFA, but it's still very poor.

NBA 2K14 however, is outstanding.

I'm saying it's a well regarded game. The same goes for NBA 2K14 that you're bitching about. My experience comes from the PS4 version and experience with the PS3 version of 2K13.

PES really doesn't innovate so I don't think that I'm really to out of my depth by saying it isn't shit.

I'll play it in time. There has been far better games and far worse games on PS+ in the past.
 
Pixel Junk Shooter Ultimate is much much better than the last 2 months of shit on PS4. Cross buy so will grab it for Vita also :thumbsu:

Not expecting much from Lone Survivor, yay another 2d side-scrolling indie game, cant have enough of them :rolleyes:

I'd like to see PJS on Vita purely for the colours on the screen. Don't expect anything from Lone Survivor, it's terrible and incredibly boring.

78 on Metacritic would indicate that it isn't shit. It's not groundbreaking, but it is a viable alternative to FIFA and it always has been.

User reviews on Metacritic are an absolute cesspool.

Especially when there are franchises that go head to head such as COD/BF or FIFA/PES.

Anyway regardless, the game isn't shit and you and kerby should find something more constructive to whinge about.

Kerby said that the game wasn't well regarded. If you look at the accredited reviews it scores just fine.

User reviews on a site like that are a flawed concept. Too many people get tribal and either give games 10 or 0 because they get drawn into COD vs BF or FIFA vs PES type scenarios where it must be one or the other.

Feel free to act like a ******* though.

I never contradicted myself once. People can have a difference of opinion, all I was doing was pointing out that a decent number of people were saying that the game he was saying was shit, really wasn't.

I'm also not the one sooking about what free game I get each month.
 
Question. I have 16 gig free on my Ps3, I have tried to get NBA 2k14 which is 7 by memory, however the game wont install? What's the deal there?

You need double space to download - pretty sure when I went to download NBA2K14 last night it was about 8.4gig.

This frustrated me to no end originally, I just ended up installing a bigger HDD.
 
I see alot of talk about playstation plus and ps4 and ps3 does the one playstation plus subscription mean that you get access to both ps3 and ps4 content or do you need two different ones? I'm a novice to this never bothered but seems decent value?

Just need one subscription.

You get access to 6 games a month (2 PS4, 2 PS3 & 2 Vita), plus discounts on various others from time to time.

Very good value.
 
Pixel junk is pretty poor imo. Played a little of Stick it to the man, again, just did nothing for me, humor just fell flat badly. Looking forward to 12 months from now when full games will be on plus for ps4, resogun is the only plus game iv really enjoyed.
 
Tried out Trine 2 and kept playing for 3 hours til I'd had enough of 3D. Played for another half hour with 3d turned off. Visually pleasing game that one. All the floating orbs and glowing items in that fantasy garden world really highlight 3D gaming goodness (which is few and far between)
Not bad for a "free" PSN title. Never knew a thing about it til tonight.
