Galak-Z is pretty fun, but have struck up a bromance with Broforce. It panders to my need of retro games, 80s action movies, senseless pixellated violence and bromradery.

I played 2 minutes of Flame Over and wanted to start a fire. Shit game.

Because it's Vita/PS3/PS4 relevant and we don't have a tag for all things PlayStation. Can see if we can come up with better tags but we don't have the power to change them.

Downloaded Broforce after getting recommended to it by a co-worker and it's a ****ing awesome little game!

Love the characters, the abilities they all bring and how different each one feels (reminds me of the old TMNT game where each character actually felt different to use and therefore caused you to change up your strategy each time). The difficulty balance seems pretty spot on too.

Love how super quick it is too, has that Super Meat Boy-ish pace to it where you're restarting just as fast as you began if you die so you never really have any downtime.

Soundtrack and graphical style are awesome too.

Really glad I downloaded it and gave it a go.

GwG has the advantage of being relatively new though. PS+ was terrific for months and months before GwG was even a thing, and the latter also started off poorly. Plus has covered a loooooot of games in that time; they're simply running out of options until the PS4 release games are old enough to justify them being free. I imagine the selection will pick up later in the year.
