Downloaded Metal Gear, but every time I launch it, it freezes on the “accept terms and conditions” page. Didn’t even realise digital games could do that ?
On iPhone using BigFooty.com mobile app
*fart noise*
Good thing I haven't got around to playing last month's games I guess.
If you're one of the 23 people that do have a Vita though, and you like old-timey point and click adventures, Broken Sword is very well done.
You'll miss some of the character dynamics and most of the fanservice moments but overall it won't matter too much. It plays quite similar to the other games (outside of #3 which went 3D), just more modernised. If you enjoyed the first game you'll probably enjoy this one - and I'd recommend jumping on #2 and #3 if you see them cheap, they're still fun games.Only played Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars and really liked it. Does it compare to that? I noticed it’s up to 5 and I’ve only played the first, hopefully that doesn’t matter. Will be a good excuse to fire up the Vita.
BS 1 & 2 are among my favourite point and click adventures and 5 was probably the closest in quality they've had since. You won't miss much other than small references but as Dan said it's well worth tracking down the second too. There are remastered mobile versions of the first two which are really well done.Only played Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars and really liked it. Does it compare to that? I am definitely keen and was only thinking about it the other day.Been itching to play Darksiders again recently so that’s handy.
