You should be somewhat ok. It's going to be the Single Player only, so it won't be too huge, maybe 25-30GB at a guess.

Since the MP is F2P anyway if you choose to grab that you can then go for that download too.
 
been getting stuck in to some of the smaller free ps+ games i've got on my ps3 over the past couple of days.

thomas was alone is such a brilliant little game that while it's so simple i thoroughly enjoyed it!
it really is quite amazing how they can make you care about the journey of a few little shapes.

also i know i started it a LONG time ago when it initially came out and have absolutely nfi why i stopped but renegade ops is flipping awesome!
i'm also not sure if it's because i havn't gamed in a long time or what but even on normal difficulty this game is bloody tough!
ridiculously hectic little twin stick shooter that is the type of game i really love.

those poor xbox suckers. pay 60 bucks a year to get access to use the internet that they're already paying for on their console....
playstation users pay 60 bucks to get hundreds upon hundreds of dollars worth of games. :D


all anybody needs for their console gaming is to purchase the top of the line AAA titles and get a subscription to ps+ :hearts:

Just had a squiz then - says its only 11 gig. :confused:

There must've been some sort of error - I downloaded a 12 gig one this arvo which hasn't shown under my games list - went back to PS+ and it's given me the option to download again - but now it says 33 gig...

W.T.F?

EDIT: found the problem - apparently they hadn't uploaded any of the cut scenes so it has now had to have been re-loaded and re-downloaded.

Awesome.

Let's not forget the shitty download rates you get from the PSN...
Should probably be done by next week if you leave it 24/7.

I really fail to understand why it's so slow, my xbox does similar data downloads in roughly half to two thirds of the time and it absolutely destroys the PS3 in system software update times. Hope the PS4 is better in this aspect.
 
It's been a while since I've really downloaded anything and payed attention to how long its taken but I'm fairly sure mine is slower than that.

Vaguely recall a mb every 4 seconds which comes out to be a gb every hour and a bit. I'm running wireless by the way.

I generally get 1MB per second for the average download. Have you done a speed test on the system?

It should be in 3 separate files: 12g for the single payer and roughly 10gig for each of a 2D and a 3D movies package (I deleted the 3D movie file as I don't have a 3D tv). Just check your download manager to make sure youve got 3 items.

I also downloaded the free multiplayer pack from the PS store as this was mentioned o being necessary on the PS Blog forums.

I've just joined PS+ as it seems like an excellent deal with the free games that are available. I've just downloaded Demon's Souls and am now downloading Uncharted 3.

Yes, but I deleted the 3D ones and tested the game - I got to start a new game with no problem but haven't actually played the game yet so can't be 100% certain. I really can't see why you would need to to be honest.
