I don't have Journey yet so that's good for me

I don't remember seeing this posted here but there was issues for people getting the uncharted collection if they had already got it when it was free on PS Plus. sony have put it up for free free so even if you did have it on Plus you can "purchase" it again and keep it forever, no PS Plus sub needed.

I'm surprised, in all honesty, when people can complain about getting free games. Especially games of that quality.

Cities Skylines is a very good game if you're into that sort of thing

Under the same circumstance I am sure farming simulator is as well.

I can't comment on the farming sim one as I haven't played it, but if you like city simulations then Cities Skylines is a very good one and well worth playing.

because the games are a piece of shit compared to what you get on Xbox gamepass

In this instance, I am not talking about the PS+ games but the literal free titles of Uncharted Collection and Journey.

But you have to pay extra for Games Pass. Over the years if I've been anything I've been an Xbox fan boi but as someone who plays across platforms and so hasn't played every AAA title on every console the PS+ games have been awesome for me.

Off the top of my head Nioh, Bloodborne, Dirt 2.0, Batman: Arkham Knight and Uncharted Collection are all games I hadn't played.

I will definitely give it a try thoguh. Seems to me to be a game that would lend itself to keyboard and mouse a lot more and so is a game that I'd usually avoid on console.

On this generation and the last generation I have had both consoles and have always favored the ps as the better console.

But with the options of games on gamepass I very rarely use the ps anymore

You only pay a couple of dollars extra a month to get gamepass over xbox live so the money value is very little

Interesting point. I think it's only been the last 18 months that I've really got into the PS4 back catalogue so I've gone in the other direction and I'm enjoying the PS4 exclusives. I'm also a bit of a sucker for physical copies of games as I do a bit of collecting across about 6-7 consoles so I'm not a fan of the idea of all my games being virtual. It does sound like great value.

I am a sucker for physical copies too

But the thing with gamepass is there are so many games on there that I thought about buying but didn't, now I can just download them and playaway and if I don't like them I just delete them.

However it does get a bit tricky when there are so many games to try and you waste 30mins- hour just trying to decide which game to play

Free games are great, but it's the old chestnut of non customers getting a better deal than loyal customers.

It was like you'd paid your club membership to guarantee your seat then a week before a big game the club gives out the rest of the tickets for free.
