My partner bought me a gaming laptop from Christmas. Tried out game pass as it was $1 a month for the first 2 months then like $10. AOE 4, back for blood, evil genius 2, DOOM eternal, all the Forzas , etc etc plus like 50 others
It's night and day the value.

In fairness you should be comparing PS Plus to Games with Gold, Gamespass is a different beast altogether.

Im pretty sure For an extra $5 you get it on XBOX as well I think I saw. Could be wrong

It's included in Gamespass Ultimate. But games with gold is the equivalent of PS Plus.

I am really thinking about just buying PS Plus on one month subs when I need it.

I don’t play games online where Plus is required and I don’t buy many games on sale these days where Plus could grant a bigger discount on the PS Store.

They make us pay $12 for online play (which was free on everything except Xbox before last gen) with the excuse that we get monthly games, only for the games to always be DLC or stuff absolutely no one cares about lol. Shocking month.

Gamespass Ultimate is $15.95 a month. PS+ is $79.95 a year but can often be purchased and stacked at $59.95.

I was just comparing monthly prices since that seems a bit fairer as GPU is only monthly. Can’t deny it is the best deal right now.

How does the Games with Gold line up compare with Ps Plus? Honestly I have gotten my good share of games from Ps plus but the fact that we even have to pay for online play is rubbish.

From what I saw online this morning people are not happy with the Games with Gold month so about on par with PS+

I'm not sure why, but I had a slight hope that Borderlands would be re done with the new characters available. But nope, one of the two games is a DLC of a game that was already free on PS+ within the last few years as part of the Handsome Collection

It’s the multiplayer from Ghost of Tsushima. From all reports it’s pretty good.

GOT Legends has been free for owners of the game since mid last year, and this is just the standalone version.

It’s basically the same as this months PS Plus game Tina's Assault On Dragon Keep. That is the standalone copy of DLC that was released in 2013.

Persona 5 is being removed from the Plus collection on May 11, though if you add it before then you'll keep access to it for as long as you have a PS Plus sub.

Hopefully it's a sign of updating / upgrading some of the games on there.

A cynical view would be they're starting to reshuffle their offerings to push users to particular subscription tiers. For now I'm assuming it's the end of a timed licensing thing with Atlus.
