Not available yet. The Game catalogue games get released around the 16th to 21st.

Yes, that’s correct. A few games have been available for PS Plus on Day 1 in the past, so this wouldn’t be a first.

I don’t know exactly why it happens, it could be exposure for small studios.

No. Once the subscription expires you lose access to the game.

The monthly games do reset after each month but you keep any game you downloaded/added to your library for the duration of your PS Plus subscription. Just like it was on PS4.

In the case of Rift Apart, however, that particular game isn’t a monthly PS Plus game. It is part of the “Game Catalogue” service and you would need a higher tier of PS Plus (Extra or Deluxe) in order to play Rift Apart.

There are now three tiers of PS Plus. “Essential” ($79.95 yearly), basically the monthly games and benefits. “Extra” ($134.95), monthly games, Game Catalogue games (including Rift Apart) and Ubisoft games. “Deluxe”($154.95), monthly games, Game Catalogue and Classic Catalogue (PS 1, PS2 and PSP games).

The higher tiers of PS Plus are a good service as you get over 700+ games, so the higher cost is worth it. The service pays itself off pretty quickly.

Looking forward to JP and since the next months lineup has been dropped, I have read Trek to Yomi is a decent game. As good as some of the monthly games have been this year, the game catalogue selections is where it’s at. I cannot wait to see what those will for June.

Does 2k23 have a bullshit my player career like 22 did? I don't want to walk around a city buying shoes and watching unskippable cutscenes. I just want to play ball and improve my own player.

You can do that but there are a couple of times you have to do certain quests before you continue.

Cutscenes are skippable.

I'll give it a crack then. I noped out of 2k22 pretty quickly so hopefully this one gets me onto the court quicker.
