Hi Guys,

I have noted that Buckley seems to receive a lot of criticism from opposition supporters.

Do you think the FIGJAM tag still applies ( or ever did )

I do not think he is like that at all, and always seems to be encouraging and praising his team mates. I have watched countless Collingwood matches and have never seen him publicly berate his team, or act in a disparaging way......

I have seen many other captains act far more arrogantly then Bucks.....who is a leader in every sense of the word....

Have you guys noted any actions that warrant the FIGJAM tag lately?

He really is the BEST player in the AFL at the moment and your right the only reason other supporters won't adknowledge this is because he plays for Collingwood.....I am just sick of people going on about how arrogant he is without any examples of late......

No, you are right in all your comments, but he did early on deserve the nickname FIGJAM.

Whilst he's outgrown in, it's still a great nickname...and a great username to boot!

I think he has gone a long way to try and correct that image but opposition supporters are jealous.

He kills us almost ever time.

Sorry, I find it impossible to be objective when it comes to Nathan Buckley. To put it quite simply, the man is an out and out champion.

Early on in his career, perhaps he was a bit arrogant but anyone who has followed his conduct closely in the past few seasons will see he has become much more modest and has developed into a great leader. This has contributed to his continued brilliance on-the-field. He is now the complete footballer.
