Hello Lions people

I read recently that Mark Bayes has been appointed runner and part-time assistant coach for the Lions this season.
http://www.afl.com.au/news/story_205918.htm

You maybe aware that Mark Bayes is an ex-Swan and an absolute legend around the club. Retired in 1999 after a glorious career of 268 games (shares the all-time Swans record with John Rantall) between 1985-1999.

Very pacy, with excellent skills, Bayes still has what is regarded by many as the best left foot in the business. At a time when my club was little more than a laughing stock, Mark Bayes used to play virtually a lone hand, consistantly our best player during those long dark years.

This guy is a dead-set ornament to the game and I am thrilled he is back involved with footy again.

Please make him welcome - he is a great pick-up for you guys.

cheers

Welcome aboard Mark, I hope you enjoy your new job here at the Brissy Lions.
You're a champion, and I hope some of your skills rub off on some of our boys.
cheers....
