We're now a couple of weeks into the new season, and with that also means an increase in media around what's happening in the league, whether AFL, VFL, the women's game etc
And as those things increase, so does ones desire to read those articles and if they're behind a paywall it can mean users asking if someone can post the article or if we've read something, that we decide to post the article for others out of kindness - unfortunately that's not something we can be doing
The following is an update that came out late last year, but now send a good time to remind all posters of:
Copyright Material
As publishers of your posts, please be aware that you could be held liable should you post material belonging to a third party.
Fair dealing in many jurisdictions allows for a small amount of a work to be reproduced for a number of purposes, including parody/satire and criticism or review.

15. Copyright and trade mark policies
15.1 It is Big Interest Group’s policy to respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with applicable international intellectual property law (including, in the United States, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act) and to terminating the accounts of repeat infringers.
TL;DR: Material that is reported as infringing a third party's copyright will continue to be removed. Repeat infringements will continue to see members have their access limited or permanently removed. Members should check their posts for content they believe or know to infringe the ownership rights of others. People who believe their rights have been infringed should report the content with the Report Post button, or via the site contact form.
