You should note Lingy is enemy number 1 followed by Hunt. Keep this is mind..

Maybe Ling could be tried as a permanent forward. Im was one of his biggest supporters and i too ran your arguement but where at the point where he is no longer helping the team.

1) He can't hit targets by foot or hand,
2) He is not getting forward of the ball to receive and kick goals like he use to
3) He gets caught with the ball
4) He seems to have done something wrong by his teammates as the boys don't seem to talk to him on the field.

Lingy to start from a pocket next week. If he cant do that maybe like said before downgrade his contract and play him as a tagger.

Exactly right, can remember thinking at the time "Thompsons got a sure gig now". Can remember people at the time saying all three of Thompson, Cook and Costa will go or none at all. Imagine if that had happened
