Vultures are great, with several collective nouns depending on their activities.

First there's a Committee of Vultures. This is used when they are perched in a group resting or waiting.

Second is a Kettle of Vultures, used when they are flying in circles above their next meal.

Finally, when they are feeding it is called a Wake of Vultures, and I promise if you ever encounter this, it will be a smell you will never forget.

I have. Lived in America for a bit.

I reckon the two smells you will never forget (assuming you aren’t a scene of crime expert in law enforcement) are feeding vultures and spraying skunk.
