Source?

There would have been no doubt in anyone's mind that Deledio was the No. 1 pick. No doubt...

It would be like Hodge being selected in front of Judd... Hang on....

He prob said that to make himself look like a genius in getting both. Tiger propaganda.

Simply, obviously Tambling wasnt as great as people though. This crap that the Hawks stuffed up is bull$hit. The Hawks took what they want. and the dogs agreed that Tambling was worth passing on.

Why is Tambling not as good as they thought?

At the draft camp didnt he impress more than anyone else?

btw - hearing Plough speak he seemed to honeslty been unsure which of the 2 to go for.

Tambling is more of a flanker which may have played on their minds about wasting a high draft on a flanker. Secondly its all Propaganda for Plough and he wouldnt have made the decision anyway.

You make yourself look like a fool more and more.

We got Deledio, we got Tambling - We got the best two young players in the country!!! Buckenara himself has said he made a mistake by trying to call Richmonds bluff!!

Im am absolutely wrapped even more so to get Meyer at 12, I thought he would be off to Collingwood (I had heard some whispers) and he is a special talent also. Adam Pattison is tough and a big presence, just what we need.

Love the draft, well done to all concerned....

Robin Hood.......Nick off...

Tambling is a soft player and at his height it makes it difficult to naturally find a position. The Tigers took the soft option and got no good KPP.

I think you find Pattison who was TAC CHF of the Year is a pretty good kpp
Deledio will probably grow to kpp size anyway, 188cm at only 17 and the 2nd biggest hands at draft camp are pretty good signs that he'll put on another inch at least.

With his rugby background you know he can tackle hard so combine that with a full fitness tank and at the very least he will be slamming bodies all game long.

THe recuiting stategy of clubs was interesting

Hawthorn, Adelaide, and Port Adelaide as examples are building the spine first, and then in an apparently strong midfield draft next season you should see a different drafting approach.

Richmond, who picked up 3 classy midfielders, appear to be going down the same path as when he Wallace was at the Bulldogs.
Build the midfield first - TWT the best approach, but in a "tall" draft with Richmond lacking Ruckmen and KPP, they opted to primarily go midfield

I myself think ruckman are way overrated, but can you tell me what it is with the crows and drafting them non-stop? you would think that is the only hole in your side the way you guys draft.
