You make yourself look like a fool more and more.

We got Deledio, we got Tambling - We got the best two young players in the country!!! Buckenara himself has said he made a mistake by trying to call Richmonds bluff!!

Im am absolutely wrapped even more so to get Meyer at 12, I thought he would be off to Collingwood (I had heard some whispers) and he is a special talent also. Adam Pattison is tough and a big presence, just what we need.

Love the draft, well done to all concerned....

Robin Hood.......Nick off...

Right on Like Terry said we got the 2 best players in the country enough said people.

Tambling is a soft player and at his height it makes it difficult to naturally find a position. The Tigers took the soft option and got no good KPP.

Tambling isn't soft.

In fact he is a good tackler...excellent tackler

He runs down many players and also tackles them when doing the hard stuff.

I'd be worried bout your selection...Tom Williams...He wont make it...guaranteed

fahmi how the ******** do you know who will make it and who won't? I'm sure they took him at pick 6 for no reason at all. This guy proberly hasn't seen him play a game and he is already saying he won't make it, what a joke.

id be more worried about your selection of Williams with #6.Huge gamble for a kid who has only played the game for 9mnths.

cheers!
Every kid drafted is a gamble. Look at stand-outs in previous drafts who were drafted very high and tell me if any of them have yet to reach the heights on a consistent basis: Ottens, Johnstone, Salopek, Croad, Roach, Tim Walsh, Livingstone, Xavier Clarke, Fiora, etc...

Some do prove their worth (Reiwoldt, Pavlich, Hasleby, etc..), but not all. The true worth of this year's crop won't be known until 3-4 years from now at least.

Yikes !!! what do you think you are doing ??? There is no place on big footy for well thought out, dispassionate, not to mention sensible posts.
You are setting a bad example - but unfortunately it is an example that not too many others follow ;)

Richmond lacking Ruckmen and KPP, they opted to primarily go midfield

Im very happy how we went with the mids. :)

I would of loved Roughhead at the club but am gald we didnt get Franklin.

However we have alot of good young KKP under 20 which will develop together... :)

I think you will find that Griffin/Deledio/Tambling. Were all on the radar for 1 to 3. Hawthorn did the smart thing, they could have picked up the best available KPP and one of the top 3 midfielders (order them how you like) if all had gone to plan. Hawks knew richmond needed KPP players also, it was probably a gamble that didn't pan out as expected but hardly panned out badly. In all honesty if the hawks had intended to take a "SPINE" first at the expense of early midfielders then they wouldn't have needed 4 minutes to make the selection of Franklin, and then naming the wrong franklin would suggest that that wasn't the intended pre draft route they had established. If Franklin was their aim at 5 why didn't they have his name and registration details already written down correctly infront of them ?.

No doubt...

Given that classy young 196cm mobile, pacy, strong marking, long kicking kpp types are thick on the ground out Punt Road way...

And the best aborignal player ever is a regualr thing at the Hawks?
Not at all, but I'm not the one going around saying I'm glad not to have him at the club.

Mind you, the more cautious among us wouldn't go around declaring a player the "best aboriginal player ever" when he hasn't played a single game.

He's got a lot of ground to make up on Daniel Wells as the best young aboriginal player currently in the game, much less on established champions like Wanganeen and past stars like Maurice Rioli.

Tambling is spose to work hard running chasing when he doesnt have the pill.

Sposed to be a very good tackler.

He prob said that to make himself look like a genius in getting both. Tiger propaganda.

Simply, obviously Tambling wasnt as great as people though. This crap that the Hawks stuffed up is bull$hit. The Hawks took what they want. and the dogs agreed that Tambling was worth passing on.
i'm sure your
views are well respected and full of research! because your such intelligent person.

ill suggest terry's wallet was open when the comment was made, good bloke though
Terry didnt say it.

IVe read profiles of him and listened to people that saw him week in and out.

Tamblings 1%'s and tackling is sposed to be top rate.
