Poor Manousos, that's got to be a special type of pain . And poor Carol - when you start howling at wolves for company, yeah time is up. But the hive was patient & their plan to reel her in looks to have worked, manipulative pricks that they are. Doesn't feel like Carol was scamming them but maybe she's been working on something on the quiet while outwardly getting on the piss & trying to enjoy herself. So, what, she's going to shack up with Zosia now? (not that I am opposed to the idea)

At first we saw her being frustrated with it then later she craved some connection. She didn't leave Vegas on bad terms with McBoner but despite her chronic loneliness chose not to stay in touch.

Prestige podcast , I think, mentioned that they built that court completely for the series as they didn’t want to recreate the pizza on the roof problem for the owners as in Breaking Bad.

Carol recognised that the hive trying to please her was all play acting but she couldn't resist it, especially when Zosia started behaving like her deceased partner, Helen. It's still not clear why the hive feels obliged to please her.

The hive plan to build a giant antenna that uses all the power on earth to re-transmit the signal to other planets. But the hive also know their strategies might cause mass starvation and the end of humanity. How do they reconcile those two things?

Still plenty of questions. One thing is for sure though - Manuso will lose his shit if he rocks up and Carol is anything but full anti hive. He's come a long way & endured a bit all because of her. The hive might be worried about Carol having another outburst but Manuso having a red mist episode would be next level you'd think.

yesterday was the first time I had to fast forward through scenes, worst ep so far, after last weeks brilliance.

I'm way more interested in the Manusous story line at this point, which is why this week wasn't great as he was hardly in it.

Have avoided reading this thread so idk what you all think but it is thoroughly enjoyable and engaging. Such a well constructed story that continues to unfold.

My wife had a similar complaint, but when you see how the pacing of Breaking Bad over the full series, was justified in the end. Think it's going to be similar here, where things will spiral out in the future seasons.
