Well I just REFUSE to do a recruiters job for free, so for a low fee of $30K + health benefits I will reveal these aforementioned gun KPF players at Pick 19

Unless he's suddenly put under a witch curse that takes away his physicality and aggression at the ball/ ball carrier, no, there's no risk

Athletically underwhelming for an undersized marking target and has generally had the opportunity to bully opponents physically at underaged levels, so whether the contested marking is somewhat boosted due to his size is a bit of a question mark, although I think it's more technique personally, but with that size and lack of standout athletic traits it's hard to see where his development comes from, outside of endurance it's hard to improve any of the stuff tested at the combine.
Tend to agree here, I’ve watched all KPF’s very closely this year. Yes, he did kick 30 goals in the Coates league, had a standout game against WA where metro won by 15 goals, think Watto kicked 5 as well. They had 80+ inside 50’s, happy days being a forward on that day. The following week against Vic Country he had 3 touches. The lad can certainly play although unfortunately marking and kicking which are his assets just isn’t enough IMO. He’ll be given an opportunity I believe which will be interesting watching in the future, for his sake I hope he proves us wrong!

From my extensive research of spending 5 minutes reading the latest Cal Twomey player rankings I have decided the Swans should get either Ollie Murphy or Harry DeMattia, leaning towards DeMattia as he has a better name and better hair.

Both provide a real need for the Swans, and there seems to be a good chance at least one will be available at our pick.

I’ve asked multiple times, but never received an answer.

Do kids get X-rayed as part of their physical at the combine?

Easiest way to see if a kids growth plates are still open, indicating there’s still potential growth in the kid.

I know the Lions do this with the kids they draft.

Maybe your academy prospects.

You certainly don't X-Ray anyone else in the open pool.

As I mentioned, I believe we X-ray our drafted players.

I remember the club commenting on Henry Smith, after we drafted him, that his growth plates were still open, so we expected him to grow some more, which he did.

Ah yes, the recruiter.

Nate Caddy listed height is now 193cm and have been told he is still growing so should end up 195cm to 196cm

Does that change where he is drafted at all

Oscar Allen was only 192 his draft year but eventually kept growing to his 196cm current height

But he did slide draft night because of worries over his height
PM Bangers what do you think ?

Hurry up Geelong and take Esava make this draft really interesting for me. I’m confident either of my selections for 25 will be better players than that “potential” staaaar 😂.

If Geelong do take the 25 I would like to select in order.

#8- Sanders/Watson/Wilson
#25- C Edwards/ ZZ / A Reid/ M Edwards
#81- SANFL grand final bog

At 81, that would be Lachie Hosie, could also go Corey Lyons or Matty Snook

Also a little left field, but you could also go Harry Grant who tested in the state.

Nice suggestions , if clay hall doesn’t generate interest he could be a real steal late as well and he has Geelong connections. Seems to of fallen off the draft radar a bit after having a very good year played some big games in WAFL senior team who went on to win the premiership.

I’m interested in your thoughts on Mckercher’s forward craft and potential as a resting small forward.

I’ve seen the odd highlight of him playing as a forward and he seems to be able to hit the scoreboard.

Seen him lead out to the footy well, use his body well, but just saw some footage of his TSL debut at 16 and he looked very evasive and like he knew what he was doing.

Traditional small forward I don't see working overly well personally, at least not for extended periods at AFL level, but as a high half forward it'd be worth exploring imo if he absolutely needs to be part of a rotation, or of course in the back half

I watched a bit of Caddy this year at 3 levels. School, Coates and u18. Exceptional around goal with a great goal sense. Very strong leading & marking. Saw him snap across his body, from 45 running to the boundary for a superb kick & goal. My concern is he went missing for Vic Metro when the heat was on, ie vs Allies & Country. My sense he is use to using his size against smaller opponents and I wonder how that will play out at senior level. Hopefully I am wrong he shines with the right development team around him.

To be fair there was a severe lack of opportunity for the Metro forwards to be involved against the Allies, but certainly the lack of performance against Country was concerning, along with the fact he really only had one 'big' game against a decent opponent at Talent League level, the performance side of this year hasn't been overly great, but the traits are there for a good AFL player and the glimpses he's shown over the last 3 seasons will see him go pretty high
