Curious to hear where you have Dalton? Seems as though he could be a player that is deemed a reach as a top 15 pick but wouldn’t be suprised if a lot of clubs internally already have him in there top 15.
Bangers isn't high on him, understandable. I've asked that question in here if you scroll back.

He is getting a ton of pill in Coates and is a complete running machine, but the knocks are his height and his significant turnover issues by foot.

I would doubt he is top 15, top 30 possible in this draft. He has much more outside game than quite a few grunt mids because of his elite running. He had two very bad injuries to his wrists in the late off-season from front squatting, credit to him to come back and basically dominate Coates from a mass-disposal perspective after missing most of the year.
Sums it up, I wouldn't draft him as I don't feel his disposal is good enough, and hes not big enough to utilise his endurance on the inside more permanently.

I reckon the AFL experiences of players like Hobbs and Tsatas does lower the stocks of a player like Dalton. Got to be at least technically proficient by foot to play midfield in the AFL. Dalton does have some massive and inexplicable flubs by foot even with no pressure on him. I do think clubs will see a bit of Neale/Serong in him so think he will still get drafted at some stage, its not that deep a draft for him to miss out entirely.

Zaydyn has been our best player over both our last two games. He has been winning clearances at will, clunking intercept marks, he is in the form of his career.
Hopefully he has another big game on Sunday. He is a great kid and would love for him to get an opportunity at AFL level.

Hes still going well I see. I hope we give him a chance.

I'd probably say Schubert is happily in front, with Shanahan, JWhitlock and Armstrong in that 10-20 range, then the others from this year falling into the 20-35 range.
Shannamannnn going to be pick one when we do the redraft in a few years time.

But why stop there. He could very likely be the pick one of the redo drafts of the 2020's, maybe top 3 21st century drafts. Crying shame if he's not nominated for the Hall of Fame if he carries his form into next year

Serong and Neale are genuinely elite by hand, Dalton hasn't showed hes near that level. If his kicking was only bad under pressure then I'd probably like him as a wing

I reckon he looks good, maybe not best of the draft good, but there is definitely enough to at least dream of stardom for him.

He did snap both wrists in the off season, close to the actual season starting, so I would forgive issues he has by hand currently. He's pretty clean in terms of being a one-touch player taking that into account. Further from those injuries, better he'll be for both possession gathering and handball. His running capability is actually best in this class, even over guys like Uwland IMO, he's also has a really good few explosive first steps, so not just a marathoner.

That leaves us with his height and the disposal by foot, which are obviously big issues, but I think a smart team will take him in the second round if the draft were today.

No doubting hus endurance base, second to none over the last few years I'd argue

Thanks.
Who do you see that fits the Tigers more our of Grilj or Lindsay?
It seems practical that we select one of them but not both.
Grilj seems to have had a stronger end to the year and played well at VFL level with us.
If you want more leg speed + midfield potential then Grlj, if you want ore precision ball use + decision making from defensive 50 then Lindsay. Just an outsiders view but with Banks, Brown, Trainor, etc I'd say you guys are in a decent place for ball use but lack top end speed, so Grlj would be my suggestion

Yep, Grlj offers a lot of what we lost in Dan Rioli even if he doesn't eventually become a mid.

Hey Bangers,

How do you rate Farrow vs Taylor in similar positions? I’m curious to see how you rate them and view upside?

I'd say they play different roles in the same area of the ground and it's hard to compare that, Taylor (assuming you mean Xavier) possess more athleticism to the eye and is stronger defensively, but doesn't offer the same offensive output that Farrow does in terms of his decision making and actual disposal skill. Personally I'm taking Farrow right now but I haven't seen much of Taylor post-champs

Thanks for that. Always good insight.
