Where do you reckon Tier 3 would have landed in the 2024 draft? Would most have them still have likely been Round 1 or thereabouts?
For mine I'd say they'd have been 20ish onwards given the strength of that range last year, I'm not taking Grlj before Harrison Oliver for example

A lot of the focus for West Coast fans and hopefully the LM team is defensive application in the contest and contested ball winning. More so leaning towards the first part; where do you see the bigger / inside mids in this draft class under that lens relative to each other, and possibly relative to other draft classes. Greeves for instance, I find to be a bit of a passenger, and don’t like the idea of picking him as such. In my amateur opinion it seems Dyson Sharp is a given for this need, regardless of ceiling?

For those 2 areas Sharp's unmatched

Tier Duursma
I feel I've made it pretty clear that I see Duursma as pretty far and away the best player in the draft with some really exciting traits for the next level that should hold up across a variety of positions. I imagine he'll start his career as a half back that transitions into the midfield with more conditioning behind him, with his athleticism, consistency, IQ and skills all good enough to suggest he could be an AA level player at his peak

Tier 2
Mostly made up of guys that I think have some genuinely elite traits that'll hold up at the next level but some drawbacks that might hold them out of the elite bracket at AFL level, whether that be disposal, athleticism or consistency, I'm still confident these guys will be up the top end of their respective teams at their peak, with the upper end of their potential being AA level

Tier 3
Guys that possess one elite trait or are pretty good across the board and I'm pretty confident they'll be Above Average to Good at the very least, and most have a similar ceiling to the Tier 2 guys from my POV

Tier 4
Some guys in here I really like and some I'm not huge on, but the tier as a whole is made up of prospects I see AFL level potential in but I'm not super confident they'll make it for one reason or another, but still expect them to get drafted.
Why do you have Greeves so low?

Why do you have Greeves so low?
I don't think the defensive side of his game is good enough for his role, and I'm not confident his kicking or athleticism holds up

Thanks for you work in the community. Always great to get your insights.

2 questions.
I’ve always been fascinated by Farrow and Taylor as my favs this draft but have had Taylor ahead (I know slightly different roles) why do you have Farrow ahead now?

2nd Who from outside those top 3 tiers do you think has the ability to jump potentially shock and potentially be a steal of the draft? I like Emmett and think his Ceiling is massive.

Who's an up and coming draft watcher we should be on the look out for?
Ed's got a bit to him!

Assuming you mean Xavier, I think it comes down to how highly i value ball use and ability to be a key part in scoring through transition, to me it's harder to find or do than being an effective stopper so someone with Farrows kicking draws me in a lot because I'm more offensively minded, and I think its easier to improve someone's one on one craft than it is to improve their ball use. In saying that they are two guys I think will play different roles to a similar level so it probably moreso become about that preference as well

Ludowyke, King, Williams and Kyle stand out to me in that group as i kept having them in then out then in then out, Kyle in particular i think has a lot going for him with his athleticism and ball use but the consistency, which is similar to the other 3, held me back from being confident they'll translate to the next level.

Great list Bangers, pretty happy if Dovaston went to the Eagles at 17 which is the pick 13 that we currently hold.

After his combine testing do you think he has the versatility to push into the midfield or think he’s too small and one dimensional for that? Very high footy IQ.

As a pinch hitter I can see him being impactful but I haven't seen anything to make me think he'd be a full time midfielder at the next level

Hey Bangers, sorry if someone has already asked this. Why do you think Fred Rodriguez has dropped so far down the draft order.

Thinking of Rodriguez, has there been a player who's come into a season as potential top 5 recruit, slipped back to a pick in the 30s but then gone on to dominate at AFL level?

I know that's a very hard thing to track, but just wondering whether there's many examples of highly rated 16yr olds having an average draft year but then finding their groove again in AFL...

Seems very strange how far he has fallen on the draft boards and in peoples rankings

I wonder if there is any truth to him deliberately tanking to stay in WA

I think the added attention as a draft age prospect revealed that he doesn't have the speed to be a top level midfielder and lacks other traits required for different roles

Cumming shrinking

... dont think yours are correct though based on Schubert, unless thats the only mistake, think he measured in at 196.7 ?
Was what I saw told from someone who has all the results 🤷‍♂️
