Appreciate this quality of information PMBangers. Cumming and Farrow for are my first 2 picks to rectify Essendon's needs too, but based on your rankings would you attempt to trade these picks with the Eagles for Duursma - assuming Eagles will do that & grab CDT/Robey and 2 players out of your 3rd tier list?

Would be rapt to bring in both - Cumming has shades of Cousins & Farrow has shades of Dawson.

Isn't 2 better than 1?
I'd be pretty comfortable with doing a trade like that

Thoughts on Latrelle Sumner-Pickett?
I've only seen the one game of his in SA U20 V SA U18 and I liked his forward 50 game, has energy and attacks the footy hard

PMBangers whats your thoughts on Robey?
To me, his kicking is below AFL standard.
I think its acceptable for his role (inside mid is what I'm viewing him as) but its certainly not a strength, but balancing the pros of his marking and power being genuinely elite I'm willing to overlook the kicking even as a half forward

do you think he is a fit in a midfield with Lalor and Smillie?

It can certainly be worked on a bit, his kicking certainly isn’t an issue when he runs into goal. He has good shape when he goes to kick

For my preference I wouldn't be having those 3 in at the same time as I dont think you're getting full value having one of them be defensive, but having Robey and Lalor able to switch in and out would be extremely valuable

If you’re in Giesch’s shoes, who you drafting at 3 and 4 (or whatever picks they end up being)?

Whichever is left out of Robey and CDT after the eagles pick and Grlj is what I'd look at

This profile reads similar to a young Dangerfield. Would you say playing styles are similar?

It's a fair comparison with the asterisk that Robey's a way off being at Dangerfields level of craft in either role, and Robeys probably a touch behind on the power

It's also a fairly high bar.

I do love a comparison to an all time great.

Player X reminds me of Chris Judd, Hopefully we can pick him with pick 26

Do you have Robey's combine results? I'd be shocked if he's close to Dangerfields' athletic prowess....endurance might be similar tbf

Is Sharp a better fit for the Tigers' midfield (probably with a trade down), being a more defensive type? I assume Hotton will be the speedy midfielder.

They're not similar players at any age imo.

Dangerfield was/is a freak, exceptional athlete who Robey will not get near imo, no disrespect to Robey

Warra pick Danger was. Still had a year to go in school, 17 years of age. I'm fairly certain he had some age records in school athletics. Matt Rendell got him to the Crows, RIP.

That Danger stayed at Adelaide for 8 seasons I think was in part that the club allowed him to stay for a year to finish school. He was grateful for the club allowing that. He also never once dropped off the effort levels when he knew he was going to leave so in my eyes I had no problems with him heading back to Victoria as he had given us great service and we were lucky enough to have one of the very best AFL players qualify any kids he has as F/S or M/D for us ;)

So wonderfully mature of you, I'm just not capable of that, given where we're at.

Also the fact Kelly, Buckley(gws), NWM(seriously) and Neck Blakey are running around doing great things as NMFC F/S, is quite painful.

He wasn't an obvious pick that high at the time, unreal drafting by Matt Rendell and his team. Apparently part of what sold Danger to the Crows was his commitment to his football, just had a great attitude to go with those A + athletic attributes.

The success of Danger types has led to the Combine testing we see today.
