Have posted my first round phantom in post #2, planning to release the next rounds by the end of the week
Pretty much my thought with the Lions, when I saw McHenry’s name. Can't see Richmond selecting, curtis Taylor with our first pick
Especially with xavier ohalloran and ely smith available
We need mids that can play inside , more than we need another forward
Regarding your selections for Fremantle, I am a bit surprised you haven't hit up a midfielder yet. I realise Hill can play midfield, but there is no doubt Neale is going to take some replacing, yet so far it doesn't seem to be something that you think needs to be addressed? Foley or Sparrow may perhaps be more productive for us?2nd round now also released
I assumed Cerra would move into the midfield more permantly, thus the Greaves pick to add depth the the backlineRegarding your selections for Fremantle, I am a bit surprised you haven't hit up a midfielder yet. I don't mind Greaves but medium/small defenders would be our last priority. So he'd need to be best available to warrant it at our 2nd.I assumed Cerra would move into the midfield more permantly, thus the Greaves pick to add depth the the backline
My thinking was with McFayden in the academy and the liklihood of players like Bytel, Smith, Foley, Sparrow, etc. Being available at your second pick that the Lions could afford to go for someone like McHenry with that first pick, who doesnt neccessarily fill a list need but projects to be good enough to warrant the selectionPretty much my thought with the Lions, when I saw McHenry’s name.
I know we’re adding a serious number of Mc’s to our list, but it’s not like we’re going to deliberately try and draft them in.
Unless they’re an academy kid of course.
Much like Brisbane with the plethora of mids in the range of your second pick I thought the tigers could afford to go with a 'luxury' pick with their firstCan't see Richmond selecting, curtis Taylor with our first pick

All the good mids will be gone by our second pick,,,My thinking was with McFayden in the academy and the liklihood of players like Bytel, Smith, Foley, Sparrow, etc. Being available at your second pick that the Lions could afford to go for someone like McHenry with that first pick, who doesnt neccessarily fill a list need but projects to be good enough to warrant the selection

There's a decent amount of midfield depth in this years draft, and the more 'plain' mids like Ely Smith or Jack Bytel for example, who aren't fancy but they get the simple stuff done and they get it done well, are falling because they don't have a standout Point of Difference. Much like Jack Graham in 2016 and Jack Higgins in 2017, both players that are better than where they got selected because they either, in Graham's case, were seen as vanilla or basic, or, in Higgins case was perceived to have little development left in him.All the good mids will be gone by our second pick,,,
I like the way your think , good effort well done
I don't know if you've ever seen Jack Ross play but he's another very decent midfield prospect that rarely gets a mention....I'll be very surprised if goes through undrafted. There's a decent amount of midfield depth in this years draft, and the more 'plain' mids like Ely Smith or Jack Bytel for example, who aren't fancy but they get the simple stuff done and they get it done well, are falling because they don't have a standout Point of Difference. FWIW Turner is a gun and will likely be able to have immediate impact if Richmond do really take him
In my full phantom (past the 4th round) I have him going in the 5th round to Essendon.I don't know if you've ever seen Jack Ross play but he's another very decent midfield prospect that rarely gets a mention....I'll be very surprised if goes through undrafted.
I'll be very surprised if he lasts that long given his form late in the TAC season for the Oakleigh Chargers, his strong form for Caulfield Grammar in the APS system plus his standout game in the APS vs AGSV game later in the season. Big bodied inside mid, clearance specialist with reasonably good speed and accelerationIn my full phantom (past the 4th round) I have him going in the 5th round to Essendon.
I've got 8 Dandenong boys going in my first four rounds as it standsHey Bangers interested to know how the TAC premiers have gone in your Phantom draft?
Probably right, he's one I think is pretty good and wouldn't be surprised to see him in the top 40/50, but as it stands I have a few names they do similar things ahead of himI'll be very surprised if he lasts that long given his form late in the TAC season for the Oakleigh Chargers, his strong form for Caulfield Grammar in the APS system plus his standout game in the APS vs AGSV game later in the season. And I forgot to mention a very penetrating kick.I've got 8 Dandenong boys going in my first four rounds as it stands

All the talk from Saints and Sandy is that King will be the selection at 4, of course this could all change but for now I'd be putting my money on them taking KingI think Saints take Rankine if he is there at pick 4. We love King but Rankine is too good to overlook.
