Being an almost 40 year old male, this is probably my most consumed form of media. I probably started out with true crime but I found that sort of stuff too cheerful.

Right now I enjoy:
The Grade Cricketer - good cricket analysis and humour

Short History Of… breaks down complicated historical topics into one hour chunks

Real Dictators - history podcast that examines history’s tyrants over several episodes

The Rest is History - history discussion podcast - Assassination of JFK series was great.

Cover: Stakeknife - history meets true crime. Investigates the activities of Britain’s top spy inside the IRA during The Troubles.

I don’t listen ax frequently anymore but in the past I’ve liked: Sports Bizarre, Sizzletown, The Sounding Board and If You’re Listening.

How about the Demonland podcast :sneaky:
Ha. I actually listened to that when it started because there wasn’t too much Dees content around. I still listen occasionally but yeah a lot of it is pom Pom waving nuffy stuff. That said, I reckon they’re more objective than the DeeBrief.

TGC is the main one. Dave was my favourite to listen to of the three, however.
Always had the impression he wanted out so wasn’t shocked when he left. I remember the others talking about doing the podcast in five years and him saying something like “****, I hope not.”
