Well done Pods had a good career at the top level after years and years in the VFL.Then finally getting a crack at the AFL when most would of given up.
Highlight monstering JGibson:D.

I read that he kicked 20 in his last two WAFL games.
:thumbsu:
That's a bloody good effort since he was on the Crows list and their reserves play in the SANFL. ;):p

Well done to Pods on showing the footy world that he was good enough to play top line football after being passed over on a number of occasions.

It has been reported he is staying on in Adelaide, as a few mentioned, taking up a role with the South Australian government as a mental health ambassador.

Congrats to Pods on his career with both us and the Crows - played an important role and had a big impact for us in his few years at the club.

Also congrats to him for the recognition he received tonight at the Crows b&f, it does show what sort of team player he is:

Retiring Crow James Podsiadly is the recipient of the 2015 Phil Walsh Best Team Man Award.
The honour is a reflection of the influence Podsiadly, who didn’t play an AFL game this season, has on the Adelaide playing group.

Watched some good footy last night , our 2011 PF against West Coast. Pods was massive in that game, areal influence on the forward line -strong marks, great goals- and led at everything.
We should have kept him just for what he can bring to a club.

Get Pure_Ownage a crash cart and someone stabilise him….:D

Or at the very least give him the day off work and a bottle of his favourite vice….

GO Catters
LOL Very thoughtful of you daz ;)

Pity he was playing very well towards the end of the year for them in the seconds.

Hope he can find a rewarding career going forward was a big part of the team for 2011 he should be very proud of his AFL journey.

Best of lucks pods
jPod was a fitness trainer + was working at the Cats when he was discovered, so it would seem that's what he'd do +/or coaching.

What I just love about the jPod is his enthusiasm, just a full on team player, hard at the ball + his tenacity!

jPod was a player who was respected + loved by his team mates + he just slotted straight into the team. Definitely made a massive contribution to our 11 flag.

On the subject of former Geelong players at Adelaide, Milburn is apparently moving on, any chance of a return to KP?
Wouldn't that be awesome?
