Have you had a good look into him? I wasn't really considering him either but he's definitely on my watch list now. $480k is unders for a bloke who was nearly $700k at one point last year, especially considering he played most of the year injured.

Anyone considering James Kelly? With backline depth a bit thin he could prove to be a reasonable pick?

Geelong are phasing guys like Kelly & Enright out this year with it pretty much being their final year.
Don't be surprised to see Kelly especially rested/dropped at times this season with Cats wanting to develop guys like Jed Bews more.

Starting to seriously consider Andrew Swallow, think North will have another really good year and is a proven SC premium.

EDIT: Just saw he is in 6% of teams which is more than I expected. Would still defiently consider a POD

Reports after season finished was he was playing most of the year with a fracture in his leg.

Probably didn't want to not play as we had injuries (Only 3 on Saints list didn't play AFL in '14) & sweet FA senior players.

Yeah I knew he was playing injured. I was just filthy because I was one of the muppets who paid top dollar for him, only to see him plummet. Speaking through my pocket more than anything. $480 is probably a bargain for him, but I'd still be concerned about the tag.

If we're thinking about 10% is a POD, mine are;

Rockliff, Simpson, Hurn and Sloane. Might try and fit a couple more in but its tough when it looks like GAJ, Pendles, Selwood, Swan, Deledio, Goddard and Dusty are must haves.

Things will change dramatically if no backline rookies are named though.

Averaged 110 in his previous two seasons before injury, I think he can get back to that but can definitely see the concern.

I think it's the bye factor more than anything otherwise I'd be strongly considering Sidebottom. Hard to justify picking him over Pendles though, same goes for any other GC or Freo Mids. If you have Ablett, Pendles, Fyfe you're already stretching it for the R12 bye.

Would be a bonus for any inside mid. But tackles are already 4 points, cant see them increasing that too much.

Hardball gets should be worth more than loose ball gets though imo.
