+1.Currently have both sitting nicely and secure.
Wouldn't recommend picking any Hawk midfielders this year except maybe Bill and Jed ('s excellent adventure).B.hill? Hawks supporters what say you?

I actually think he is a very valid pick.I have Jordan Lewis in right now.
A year or two too early for Crouch to warrant a mid spot is my gut feeling.
SC, can't see him jumping to the 110+ we all crave from our 8 mids. For the crows or for a SC starter?
Personally i will be starting with players who are likely to be my M1-M4 at the end of the season.

Fair enough mate.I do, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend to others. He is the player most involved with goals at port and there are a few other metrics that lead to good SC scoring. From what I've seen as more of a social viewer, (despite watching every port match last two years live) he the crucial link moving the ball forward.
Broadbent may take some of his points, but I'm hoping for an average of 80-85. An improvement of 20 points. Disposal sometimes poor under pressure and also decision making under pressure. Either his disposal % is low, or his clangers is high. The general consensus amongst port fans is that perseverance will lead to great results. Shows signs of improvement, as such an improvement of 20 point is within limits of reality.
If you look at his max/min past scores against other teams it becomes apparent he may not have a high upper scoring threshold, which is a major concern.
Beyond, rationalisation, I picked him because he is priced at an average of 65 (iirc) with almost no risk of losing value. (bar injury) Vis-a-vis the rest of the (imo) lacklustre defenders, POD and a man of interest. Pittard is a player I spend alost of my time sulking about (Re: Westoff a few years ago) and including him in my team adds interest / plots to watching port play. (Read: not an intelligent pick, but a pick of instinct / interest)
