Howe has already gone from 1.9 to 2.4 just because he's in Jock Reynolds team. That hurts.

That team is shithouse. Not as bad as crouchings $670k on the bench ffs...

His team isn't even close to shit house. What selections would you consider so bad that it renders his team shit house?

Crouchings team is shit house. Jocks is solid across all lines
Agree with Souup , his team is fine

I actually rate jocks team pretty highly, only problems I have with it are the Matt crouch pick, and the fact he has too many premiums with a round 13 bye.

Watch everyone here stack their back lines like he has when 3-4 of the popular defensive rookies everyone is banking on don't get named for Sunday's game.

4 Defensive premiums + marchbank will be the way to go IMO.

Could have the same problem down forward, a fair few question marks going on at both ends.

Really?

down forward we already have eddy, bowes, houston and butler and taranto as confirmed as playing in round 1.

Yeah I would say you will have easily that amount lining up in the back line as well.

Spend is excessive down back and weakens the rest of the lines.
I think it might be necessary to spend that much

plenty of the def rookies looking unlikely

I hope we get plenty of them, as I'd love to drop a def premo and bring in another mid stud

Hopefully it ends up that way, but atm the only one i can be certain of playing is hampton.

Otten could miss if lever is fit
Brad scott didnt confirm that either EVW of Hibberd would debut
Guthrie and Stewart are no certainty to play either judging by the discussion on the Geelong Board

Hopefully Joel Smith gets the nod for melbourne, because we'll find that out before the rolling lockout starts

Interesting as many teams went 2 or 3 premo's and 5 rookies ......having 3 defensive rookies on the ground was always high risk

Don't believe this Big Footy (Adelaide Forum) rubbish

Otten should get the nod over Cheaney, they would be mad otherwise.

EVW a better chance than Hibberd, but thats not bad, need some people to downgrade too.

I would expect Guthrie or Stewart to get a run, both are a good chance, Guthrie prob slightly ahead, but Stewart could get an early run, and Geelong will give them a chance once they do get a run.

Joel Smith is a like for like player to replace Garland, and given his preseason, could have already been ahead of him anyway.

All the backs are just as good a chance as the forwards just no one has really confirmed them yet.

I always ensure i only have 2 on-field rookies on each line .......no-one this year appears to have put a lot of interest in dual position flexibility ?

Would have thought this year it was more important than ever

people were taking 2 or 3 def premos only and loading up on rookies a few weeks ago because it seemed very likely that EVW, Hibberd, Stewart and Smith were locks.. that is no longer the case
