Stern is an arshole who was never held accountable for that.
He also humiliated Brian Wilson's daughter Carnie Wilson by tricking her to stand on scales.
Also harrassed Anna Nicole Smith for years, and the nasty emma bunton interview comes to mind.

In French, some countries are feminine - such as la Chine (China), la Belgique (Belgium), la Suède (Sweden). Others are masculine, such as le Japon (Japan), le Portugal (Portugal), le Brésil (Brazil). All continents are feminine.

Switzerland's flag is a different size/ratio to almost every other country.

Most flags are a 2/1 ratio while the Swiss flag is a 7x5 ratio so looks a bit more square.

Plenty of pointless trivia about flags.

Paraguay is the only national flag that's two sides are different.

For all it's strongly fought independence from the UK, one US state, Hawaii, still has the Union Flag in it's canton (like Australia does)

Only one national flag does not have any of red, white or blue: Jamaica.

Just before the opening ceremony for the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, the Haiti and Liechtenstein teams realised they had the same flags. This prompted Liechtenstein to add the crown to their current flag the next year to distinguish them.

That is astounding. And just doesb't seem like it could be right.
Libya did have an all green flag for quite some time, but that's a while back now; but with my very limited knowledge can't think of any that break it.

The bottom of icebergs can be dark blue due to the compression of the ice and light refraction.

A mate of mine from school copped "Garnet" for similar reasons, naturally that became his nickname.
Matthew Boyd was nicknamed Keith during his AFL playing days. Same reason

This is in the ridiculous but true category the burpee exercise was name after its inventor Royal Burpee, can also go in the Terrible Baby Names thread
Royal Huddleston Burpee Senior

He either thought it was great or didn't want to be the only person ever with that name

Max Gawn and Ed Sheeran were born in the same year.

I like watching interviews from the Dick Cavett Show from the 70s where Orson Welles talks about meeting Hitler and Churchill.

Orson Welles seems like an historical figure to me let alone Hitler and Churchill but he's talking to Dick Cavett on a 70s talk show.

Groucho Marx talking about his old comedy days was interesting too and he was pretty sharp even when he was in his older age.
