Is there a mathematical point to it? Seems like some failed mathematician named Fibonacci made it up just so they could keep their job.

Fibonacci sequence maps to a spiral, which is found in all parts of nature.

Fibonacchi ratios are used in equities trading too to determine support and resistance levels

If my sister goes on to have triplets then she would be giving birth in the Fibonacci Sequence.

If this happens, I suggest she stop there...

6 big corporations own the various media we watch, read or listen to.

They are:

CBS.
Comcast.
Disney.
News Corp.
Time Warner.
Viacom.

There's also 10 corporations that own the bulk of what is bought in supermarkets and other stores in the world.

Associated British Foods plc.
Coca-Cola.
Danone.
General Mills.
Mars.
Mondelez International (known in the USA by its previous name Kraft.)
Nestle.
Pepsico.
Procter and Gamble.
Unilever.

For all the shit we buy, really they are no more in competition with each other than others.

Really interesting stuff.

Would be interesting to see what other corporations own and what industries they fall into.

CNN’s founder Ted Turner, at the launch of the channel in 1980, promised: “We won’t be signing off until the world ends. … We’ll be … covering it live. … [And] when the end of the world comes, we’ll play ‘Nearer My God to Thee’ before we sign off.” Turner commissioned a video recording of the hymn for this purpose, played by a military marching band, which he sometimes played for reporters. In 2015, the video, tagged in CNN’s database as “[Hold for release] till end of world confirmed”, was leaked on the Internet.

Theodore Roosevelt's mother, and wife died on the same day.
That's brutal. Had some at work who's nan and pop (opposite sides of the family) died on the same day this week that came a week after her mum died. :(

I have just typed "boob day" into Google. It told me there was an International Grab a Boob Day on May 3 last year. Never heard of it before. Is this an annual event? There has also been an National Cleavage Day, National Boob Cake Day and a National Go Braless Day. Amazing.
