More referring to countries that are completely surrounded by one country rather than just sharing a north/south east/west land border. You forgot Ireland, Portugal, South Korea and East Timor. Maybe some others I'm forgetting too, a few countries have only one land border with one country.

Doesn't Canada technically have 2 land borders?Forward Press Just on your post, the other countries with just one land border:
PNG
Haiti
Dominican Republic
Qatar
Denmark
Canada
UK (depends if you count some of their overseas territories such as Gibraltar)
Singapore and Bahrain are connected to Malaysia and Saudi Arabia respectively by a bridge.

Cyprus would be another contender since the British have military bases on the island.Could you also count Cuba as having a one country border, due to Guantanamo Bay being American?

But then what would you call the UN buffer zone? And do you recognize Northern Cyprus and a country?Cyprus would be another contender since the British have military bases on the island.

I understand this, but it's a contributing factor into how many borders Cyprus has.Northern Cyprus is only recognised by Turkey. It's not considered a separate sovereign nation by other countries.

And on that, there was an unfortunate situation once upon a time before the started marking the countries borders right through the down for a Dutch man living in Baarle-Nassau who found out when they marked the lines that all this time, he was actually living in Belgium, in Baarle-Hertog. His house crossed straight through the border between the two countries but his front door and letter box were positioned in Belgium, so that defined the country he lived in. So instead of changing which countries he paid his taxes to, and which electric companies he paid and all that, he just decided to move his front door. Genius.Baarle-Nassau and Baarle Hertog - BN is a part of Belgium that is situated inside BH in the The Netherlands. It's one town that is in town countries. House numbers are determined by what side the border your house door in. And there are cafes that in both countries.
