Any decent poker book or site will have a glossary, although there are some rare terms, such as hijack above.

Wired just means a pocket pair in Hold'em. Eg. "wired eights" are two eights in the hole. It's really more of a stud term - wired eights would mean two of the down cards are eights (in the hole), as opposed to having an eight on the door, and an eight in the hole.

Thats when the questions begin, who bets how much why, it doesnt stop :D

Everyone bets an amount determined by the tournament organisers to encourage ppl to get involved in hands and also to make the tournament finish a little bit quicker.

The opposite being a "split pair".

Also, having a wired pair and catching a third on the flop, that's a set. But trips would be two on the table matching one in the hole.

Come-hand or On the Come: a drawing hand, say having 4 cards to a straight or a flush after the flop (typically a favorite term of Vince Van Patten).

Hooray! I don't feel so stupid anymore. Finally figured out what BBJ means!

But I'll make it a simple challenge for everyone else to figure out.

Ok, too easy, but what does BBV stand for?

I call them "Greys"

In reference to the computer game Championship Manager where a team has players listed in their squad in a grey font indicating that they are not real footballers, just regens.
