The 5th installment of this series will run from July 19-29 (AEST).

Event 98 is the $22 NLH Main Event, which has guarantees of a $1M prize pool and $150K+ to 1st. Of course it's early on a Monday morning here in the eastern states, so for those of us with regular day jobs, that's not ideal. Better work on my fake cough I guess. :)

Love the Micro!

Finished 35th from a 10K field in an event last series. The guy who crippled me (i had 1010, he had AK and spiked an Ace on river with about 60-70 runners left) went on to claim 3rd. I would've been top 5 chips if i won and it was the stage when i was cashing in everything and actually playing well, not my dog shit play of recent weeks and i woulda backed myself to make the FT

Can't wait for this one
 
So for this weekend, the following look possible for me:
Event 16 - $2.20 NLH, $10K guarantee @ 4pm Saturday
Event 24 - $2.20 NLH, $15K guarantee @ 8.30am Sunday ... all depends on when I get up, of course
If I could jag the day off Monday (somewhat unlikely):
Event 32 - $11 NLH [Sunday Storm Special Edition], $300K guarantee @ 3.30am Monday

Playing this weekend:

Event 9: $8.80 PL Omaha 20K Guarantee (Late reg it)

Event 18: $3.30 20K Guarantee

Event 19: $4.40 4 Max 30K Guarantee

Probs won't play during the week due to work

Then play whatever is happening on the 2nd Friday night.

Will miss the Saturday night events due to going to the Crows/Freo match at Subi

Also will play the ME for the first time in my PS playing time. Its starts 2:30 am WA time on the Monday morning, so will go to bed early Sunday night and set the alarm for 4-4:30am, late reg it and jump in when blinds are around the 100-150 mark
 
So i decided to very late reg the $4.40 2 x chance with 145 mins left

Thinking about it at work today and figured i would push some marginal hands and try to double up, or if i lost the pot, just reg again and settle down a bit

Get AsQc in SB about 4-5 hands in. Get 3 limpers, so i push for 4.4K. Get 1 caller (who i saw make an awful play earlier) with K5dd

That takes away an out or 2

He bricks. 10K without a reload. Slightly below average, but have 45 BB's and a playable stack

Just made cash in $4.40 :thumbsu:

Still in PL event, but soooo card dead. hardly any pairs. All hands are line 8 high. No suited cards. Can't remember ever being this dead in a PL event

have 3.5K after nearly 2 hrs after starting with 5K
 
Just finished 78th/3558 in the PL event

Really happy with how i played. I was so card dead. Never seen so much junk. Got lucky a few times to stay in it admittedly....

Was down to less than 2 BB's at the 1250/2.5K blinds (had 4.8k) and rivered a straight to triple up, and then got another turned straight with a K9 in my hand (he had QJ and top 2 on flop, 10 on turn) not long after

Fought my way to about 100K but couldn't get anything going after that

2 events, 2 cashes to start the MM

Just need a deeper run somewhere

Won some nice little pots early, then couldn't get much happening. Was down to < 20bb, got aipf in LP against a larger stack (multiple limpers in the pot) and my TT < 99. Ah well.
 
GL to everyone playing the main early in the morning if anyone is. Played a couple of events since I got back and have done nothing, hoping for something better tomorrow morning

Min cashed the storm, have doubled up once when i was down to 5 bb's in the main, got 12 or so now so still badly shortstacked.

I just had AA in 2 events (one MM, one the 120K gtd 80 places from money)

Lost both. Would've tripled in both had they held up

One too AJ and one to KQ

Top pair on the flop to each of them. One turned trips, the other rivered it

AA cracked for the third time this morning by 2 under cards :(

It's the last event and a super hyper, so i can't blame the guy for pushing, it just sucks
