They had an extra 250K spare earlier in the year (finally seem to have this whole cap thing worked out...
), so you'd think some of it would be used to re-sign Polly.Seriously, I can't see Polly going anywhere.

I agree with the Freo guys that it is very unlikely Polak will be traded.... but the Eagles fans get easily excited about decent key position players.
What's going on with Lynch? He looks awesome to me?

Yeah this discussion is pointless, if we didn't have room in our cap, players would be offloaded directly to Carlton for next to nothing, just to free up space.

For what is worth I think he is closer to Carey/Brown class then Fewster/Spinks.

The major reason Polak would move is because he isn't guaranteed a position on the ground with Mcpharlin and Hadrill.
I think it's way to early for him to go CHF, but then they already have Simmonds, Croad and J.Lo rotating through their aswell who are all contracted and aren't cheap. Something will give as Dockers need another quality midfielder.

You are correct, IMO one of those will go. I wouldn't be surprised (dissapointed but still not surprised) if Simmo went home.
Reading between the lines that is probably why Ricky Mott has been promoted.

Thinking the same myself Ripper. There was mention on Dockerland just recently that Snake was happy at Freo because he had been able to emerge from White's shadow and play as the No.1 ruck. Now an even larger - shall we say a gargantuan - shadow is falling across the Snakeman. One Aaron 211 Sandilands.
I have been thinking that there are enough Vic clubs ready to kill for a good ruckman - and Simmo is Victorian....
It adds up.
