Police Check

I have posted this on Question and Answer but my anxiety is killing me haha.
So I apologize but need so closure. lol
I got a job offer from a big bank last week and I completed a Federal Police Check consent form on Monday and I am now just waiting to hear back from the Bank itself.

I have a couple of questions.

I have committed one crime in my entire life and only one dealing with the police and that is when I was 16 years I smashed a window by throwing a bottle over my back fence. Would that hinder my chances at gaining employment by the bank?

They check for bigger crimes to do with money and what not also bankruptcy. Am I correct?
Also do they check for anything other than crimes?

They normally check everything, even something as minor as public urination.

Did you actually get convicted of anything? Convictions are all that count,and even there I think anything before you are 18 isn't shown.

I know people with significant records interstate have had clear police checks. Something about having a common name like Paul Harris..

You'd expect that wouldn't hinder your chances at all, unless say you're 18 and it only happened 2 years ago. Then it might impact it.

I'd be more worried about your online footprint. Tumblr, facebook, twitter etc. A lot of businesses will check these to gain an idea of what you're like.

Only convictions turn up on it.

Unless the convictions it wont turn up, They obviously have the dreaded file but being arrested ect. will be in it, I've been fined for being intoxicated in public, and had an assault charge dropped and both didn't appear on mine

Probably wrong but I always thought that it can't be accessed if it's from when you are under 18 anyway.

I had a few run ins under 16, and was caught with 'green vegetable matter' when I was 22, did a NPC when I was 28, nothing came up, you'll be sweet. Old mate is right though, the age we are heading into, I'd be more worried about your online footprint.
