Not good at all for hunter.

Kind of think this may be a reason why he was delisted, when we had the cleanout.

Tbh i'm glad we did it.

Caught with drugs well after he left the club.

Probably should strip us of the flags. Especially the 1994 flag. Seems fair.
Yeah nicely put.

You know, the question people should be asking is "why the heck are PAST football players not granted the general right to confidentiality the rest of us are afforded?"

Seriously, a significant percentage of the population uses illicit drugs - it's a judgement call, and while addictions are absolutely terrible, most users are on top of their consumption, just like most users of alcohol.

What right to confidentiality would that be?

Pretty sure Hunter retired at the end of 2009 due to debilitating shoulder injuries.

Regardless of whatever comes of this story, lets remember that drugs are solely a WA/WC issue. There are no drugs in other states, let alone at other AFL clubs.:)

Green jacket, Yellow jacket, Who gives a sh*t!. All i care about is that he is a life member and premiership player for the West Coast Eagles who helped us win a premiership. The rest is nothing but a build up of the propaganda machine known as the mass media. I don't believe or care for a damn thing the box spews out. Has nothing to do with me. By the way Adam, love the Tat.

Apparently it was back but I'm not to sure as he was playing wafl for the swans. Honestly if it was because of drugs the eagles wouldn't say "we are delisting Hunter because of drug issues and we are trying to clean up are club". I'm not saying I'm right here just something to think about.

However a significant percentage do not have a pill press or 75 tablets in their homes.:mad:

Lets not let the bloke off just because he has a Eagles 2006 Premiership tatoo. Drug dealers are not nice people who should be elevated to hero status just because they can play / did play football. If he is guilty he's an idiot.

Then again plenty of idiots play AFL.

If it was for personal use well so be it, if he was found dealing then the Eagles life membership should be stripped.

The article does not say the pill press was found in Adam's home - and does not say he is a dealer -let's not make it out to be worse that it is.

Organised crime squad detectives raided the Farris Street property last Saturday morning as part of a broader operation targeting suspected suburban drug dealers.
Of course, innocent until proven guilty, but it's not a good look for him or, despite him not playing for us any more, our club.

"The seizure uncovered a handgun that had been modified to become fully automatic and a pill press" unquote.

The paragraph prior mentions raids all over the state but it reads that a gun and press were found in te seizure. Very poor journalism if this was not at Hunters house.

Hoping they belong to a tenant but if he's living in a house with a pill press its not good.

Don't think the gun or pill press were at Hunter's place

Reading that again, I reckon its shoddy journalism, they are saying the handgun and pill press were the result of the broader operation seizures.

He played 2010 in the SWFL then returned to the WAFL in 2011. I think the extent of his injuries meant that he couldn't play AFL football, but was still able to compete at a lower level. Brad Smith was in the same boat after his 2 knee recos - could play as a leading FF out of the square for Subiaco and kick 5 a game but wasn't up to the intensity of AFL footy.

RE: Hunter, the real question is are they red pills or blue pills? ;)

Won us a flag - sure

Has worked his way through half of perth's women under 30 and just trying to keep the good times rollin

I'm a little sad in that it's a former player, but ultimately I really couldn't give a shit about the life decisions of a 30 year old.

Don't be silly.

He's a premiership hero and servant of the WCEFC. That doesn't excuse, justify, or condone illegal activity, but to the WCE he's a life member. No amount of bad behaviour changes what happened on the field.

The football club are obligated as a body to judge these people on their football.

Joe Citizen are free to judge them how they wish.
