In what is this cartoon reference to? How has Trump checkmated Mexico? Aside from having a meeting cancelled on him?

I mean this talk of making the US taxpayers fit the bill via a tariff, thereby capitulating in his efforts to make Mexico pay for it is hardly a winning move against them either.

The cartoon has no context. It's just more of Garrisons blatant propaganda.

As an aside, it goes to show exactly why Garrison is by far the lowest of the right wing cartoonists we are subjected to on this board.

Leak and Zanetti are terrible artists and seldom have anything to say, let alone say it in a witty or creative way. But at least they don't fawn over any individual, or idolise their political leaders to the point of near divinity like Garrison does. Seriously, you could replace Trump with Kim Jon Un in any of his comics, and it would be indistinguishable from genuine North Korean propaganda.

The problems with his works delve way beyond the generally puerile efforts of conservative cartoonists. It's somewhat concerning that anyone in the western world can make a living off doing what he does, for any side or any political leader.
