I think you are underestimating how much preexisting ideas evolve and fit into vastly different societies. You shouldn't discount influential figures just because 'someone else would have got there eventually'.

The people who criticise everything they don't like as "Marxism" almost every single time have no ****ing idea what Marx wrote and spoke about.

must be pretty irresponsible writing multiple best sellers, selling out talks all over the world and being a huge influence on so many people in turning their lives around. disagree with him all you want, his positive influence on his audience has far outweighed any negatives (i don't count triggering woke progressives as negative but even so..).

it's the variety of the lie that is the best part here. Like, somehow micro dosing LSD is on the same level as injecting heroin. In fact, they're all the same because addiction is alllllll in the mind.

A functional alcoholic is still addicted to alcohol, they are just functional on some level. That doesn't make them not addicted, in fact their function would suffer greatly without it, hence the addiction.

no it's not the same, but the stigma remains.

once a week is an addition? it's pretty sad you think individuals are all the same and if they take a certain type of an opiate they're an addict. FYI this mate snorts it, reality isn't like the movie theater or the anti drug videos at school.

The idea that Marx created welfare? It doesn't really interest me to discuss because it's not that much of a ground breaking idea to begin with. Humans have provided welfare since the dawn of time, it's why we formed tribes.
