If that person is in consultation with the other party and can truthfully speak on their behalf, there's nothing wrong with the objection.

So you're saying I should just walk on past when I see a burning cross in my African neighbors front yard then?

Being a white, heterosexual, man, I can only speak for (and in favor of)... white, heterosexual men?

You can speak for anyone you like.

Just don't expect anyone who recognises blatant exaggeration of interest/association to listen.

You're literally describing identity politics. You're saying there are truths that can only be understood through racial experience.

Yes, and milking the experience of others for all the brownie points its worth by assuming representation is a disgusting act.

See: virtue signalling.

interesting that you assume that's all anyone does it for. It's like you think that anything is only worth doing if it's solely for your own benefit

Oh, that's not the only reason.

Alleviating one's own psyche of guilt would be another.

Several radio stations etc have announced they won’t be playing Michael Jackson music any more.

I must say I can’t remember the last time I heard any stations play Michael Jackson, but it struck me as odd because these are only accusations and there’s been plenty before.

Or is it just a sick publicity grab?

Nobody picks those cherries like the limousine left - Jussie Smollett being the textbook example

Sorry what has cherry picking got to do with Jussie Smollett.

Can you stick to Australian examples - I know there is not a lot of coverage of our issues on 4chan or Breitbart and Ben Shapiro is not really Across indigenous issues

I am just trying to work out where the oppressive line is drawn - what about calling Jews “kikes” - to pull someone up on that - is that political correctness gone mad?

What about holocaust denial - to call that bullshit or protest a speaker who promotes it - a hammer blow against free speech?

If I was to call White Anglo Saxon males who slavishly ape American tropes and memes on a footy forum as lacking a capacity for independent thinking - what about that?

I am sure you will come back with a directly relevant Ben Garrison cartoon

And you worry about the Group think of the triggered left

Your statement makes absolutely no sense.

What happening is being conflated?

The Milo protestors and the kids in class are two different groups of people . The conduct and exchange of ideas in academic classes and what the Socialist Alternative do outside the classes is a different thing altogether

If you have ask to this question, you will never appreciate the answer. Look deeper and read between the lines. Google Al Sharpton and Tawana Brawley if you need a frame of reference

As for the rest of your post, I can't help you. I don't know who '4 chan', 'Brietbart' or 'Ben Garrison' are. Can't help you there, buddy

I think my point was I am not interested in an American frame of reference. It is a frame that has no relevance here

I wouldn't say NO relevance. There's no denying we take on some of the USA's cultural movements, and our academia certainly mirrors much of the wider western trends too. It's not about whether we follow suit, it's about how much we do.

There's no difference when the Socialist Alternative are running those classes and dictating canon.
