Nah, luckily we don't take ourselves too seriously like yourself. It'll only be 3 years at the longest before people realise what a travesty has beset them with a Shorten/Bowen/Union run Government.
Perhaps in your dreams.

No, the Liberals will be further to the Right and will therefore be unelectable.

You actually don't know much do you? Do you see the front pages? Any rate Mordor and his bunch of orcs won't be able to save them this time.

Look forward to the ALP bringing in media control/censorship laws to control the likes of Mordor.

Actually one of the balanced papers is The Advertiser. Probably only because there is only one marginal seat.
Look when you accuse people of not knowing anything you should do it from a position of knowing stuff yourself.

You will never catch me or Bicks saying:

“Don’t worry about the costings, it will all be all right”

**** be drunk, what kind of a moron attitude is that when discussing the impact of such a major policy? But this is from the same guy who suggested that not releasing their costings and copping a pounding about them was good strategy.

Latest Newspoll has decent numbers for Palmer, how ****** up are some people?
I was pretty certain that he'd struggle to get more than 1-2% in the primary vote nationally, knowing that people were aware of how hopeless he was even the first time around - now I don't know what to think.

Voter apathy towards the two major parties perhaps?

It's unfortunate that when people bring up trump like here, it's code for

I rely on my opinion from corrupt commercial media.

And you're better than that
Make Australia great is a direct rip off from Trump. Simplistic slogan with no substance.

Palmer dodged paying entitlements for his mining staff. He siphoned funds from Chinese partners to use for his own, including campaigning.

He is as dodgy as they come & just the type of person we don't need in Canberra as he is only in it for himself rather than the community.

We too have mindless sheep in Australia, but fortunately not enough to do too much damage like in other countries

That's normal, but Clive is so transparent in his utter shittiness and lack of professionalism you would've thought more would have stayed away.

His ads are so prolific yet all are so low rent, with candidates who struggle to put a half convincing sentence together.

The Murray Darling should be managed federally by an independant body. The government should buyout water guzzling farms at a low price through compulsory acquisitions.Barnaby Joyce should be charged with corruption as should the energy minister.

Ad man should have known better.
I've been led to believe he's a terrible ad-man; i think though he did the Where The Bloody Hell Are You? campaign, which i liked but apparently didn't do anything?

As billionaire businessman Mr Palmer attempts to buy his way back into politics with a $30 million advertising plunge, the Liberals are preparing to talk preference deals with him.

That's normal, but Clive is so transparent in his utter shittiness and lack of professionalism you would've thought more would have stayed away.

I recall a double-page spread in The Australian two weeks ago which had every candidate he was running in every seat

He'll get votes, whether it'll be enough to get him back in is a different question; if he does, we don't deserve nice things.

Conman who will sleep through parliament again and live off the public purse while trying to rubberstamp things to help him and only him.

His $30M will buy him a Senate seat, that’s all he is after.

Keeps him relevant, but concerningly if it’s a tight senate will give him too much influence.

Oh, this will *blow* *the* ****** *up* soon

I hear Barnaby did a radio interview last night and became unhinged; i haven't heard it yet

Would love some transparency around it
https://www.abc.net.au/radionationa...yce-responds-to-australias-watergate/11036040

Paid a premium price for floodwater in a drought.

Then there is his mate whose business burnt down and Barnaby (as agriculture minister) bought it off him for a huge profit.

Can't wait until the basic needs card scandal comes up. Two prominent former nationals got the gig to deliver it. No tender process. They make around ten grand a year per person on it.

If you gave those on it, half that, you would save money and lift most out of poverty controlling thier life.

Funny thing is, for his position he'll get about $205K a year for 7 years, maybe $1.4M as a nobody senator

He could try skimming from his ofice budget, but even that's chicken feed

...how's he going to make up the rest? He may be a slovenly, lazy pig-faced disgrace of a human being failed businessman with a mysteriously absent nephew who didn't pay his employees, but even he (might?) would understand/return on investment.

He's not spending $30M without more coming back.

**** Me Dead, i'm not three minutes into the interview, Barnaby is going off, what the **** is wrong with him?

Ordinarily, this kind of performance is someone who is guilty and cornered, he's going full-tilt - won't answer questions, repeating himself ad nauseum, he sounds like he's freaking out

Mad Katter
Pauline Hanson
Barnaby Joyce
Malcolm Roberts

I think it's time we jettison Queensland!

Who is this guy's media advisor?

He could have come out and spoken politely, politley laughed off the questions with straight answers, turned it into a non-issue, but he's raving

Labor, Labor, Labor, Labor

You're not, You're not, You're not, You're not, You're not, You're not

Yikes

Google just told me that $62m was provided to parties after the 2016 election. To break even he’s going to need about half the available first preferences. It’s completely non-sensical, what is he hoping to achieve? He’ll never get that back in favours during the days of the 24hr news cycle.
