Missed the point entirely (you can be a bit dimwitted) that The Smeartralian has not had one positive headline for Bill. All been positive headlines for Scott and his happy clapper crew.
Keep it up....just further evidence of a classic lefty handwringer that thinks he's just bit better and smarter than everyone else.

You made a point? LOL

LOL at least I don't quote the biased LNP IPA website but you just luuuurrrvvvveeee quoting the ALP/Greens eqivalent The Australia Institute.
But can you can dispute the information given it was quoted also in The Guardian as well.

You do nothing and it will be an economic risk. That is what the LNP are doing, nothing.

Of course it was quoted in the The Guardian.

And guess what all 3 of the Australia Institute Directors Richard Dennis an ALP go to Economist, former Bob Brown media advisor and Greens National Campaign Director Ebony Bennett and former Bob Brown/Christine Milne Chief Of Staff Ben Oquist are all regular contributors to the likes of the lefty The Guardian, the ABC, The Saturday Paper, the Monthly, the Quarterly Essay, the Canberra Times etc etc. All also get a run on Sky News as the opposing views to the Conservatives, all are hardly unbiased and clearly aligned to the the ALP/Greens which is you're beef with the Murdoch Media is it not?

How Many billion a year to run the weather modification programs? So the global warming damage to our economy is mitigated!?

Would it be 1 billion?

The bremer river flood event was started with a ten million dollar investment into the Australian rain corperation, by the Howard Gov. This is all. A matter of public record.

Watch the loony right go off about this.

But if you think about it, spending 1 billion to offset the damage that 130.billion were making, doing nothing about global warming, is Phuqing a lucrative investment. If the program costs 1 billion, it might be Alot less.

What make me laugh is if he thinks they are just gaffes, he just accepts them, “oh it’s just another gaff, nothing to worry about, the voters won’t care”

Labor will win but seeing them have such a shit campaign and labor lovers squirming has made the election campaign a little enjoyable. But it’s concerning that these clowns will soon be running the country.
One thing that I’ve learned is that what is said to gain government isn’t necessarily policy while in government. I remain hopeful that once in power, Bill will actually wield it and realise he has the ability to say no. At least he’s not Krudd who had no power base and was always swinging in the wind of polling. Bill has a base and can’t be toppled, so I hope he realises his power and wields it for the good of all of us.

It’s really funny watching people argue about politics. Each insisting they are right and the other is wrong. The most hilarious (or saddest?) thing is that the two party system is broken beyond repair and I think you guys seem to have missed that bit.
It’s just an entertaining discussion Jen. Not as hilarious as you trying to tell us how brilliant Trigg was even after he proved how much of a furkcup he was. Pull your head in, you’ve got no high ground here given the bullshit you continued to peddle despite insurmountable evidence to the contrary.

What the ****? I’m not taking the high ground at all. And nor am I peddling ANYTHING.... despite what evidence to the contrary? You blokes need a long, hard bloody look at yourselves. Trigg was years ago. I stood up for a mate and I’ve paid for it ever since. Fair enough then, and maybe for a couple of years after. But glory be me... I’m no lollipops and rainbow person - haven’t been for years. Reckon you need to cut me some bloody slack. Enough already.

Cut you some slack? Jenny you bring it upon yourself. Your over the top condemnation of Relapse calling out over Betts is just an example of what annoys posters.

Aligned philosophies, makes sense. In breaking news, Greens do a deal with Labor.
It is probably the right move but in saying that most of the preferences that go from Greens to ALP are approx 80% however it historically isn’t been as tight with UAP or One Nation. UAP and One Nation get a larger share of their first preferences from Coalition voters and in previous elections due to the leakage only around 55% of UAP and One Nation preferences went to the Coalition and 45% ALP so if that occurs again it may actually cost the Coalition seats. Will be interesting to see what happens on May 18.

I am better and smarter than you, thats all that counts.

Now how are those budget assumptions going to go with the economy tanking?

Even though I prefer fiscal rather than monetary corrective factors, to stick with the conventional setup, rates should've been cut once at the end of the prev quarter (December). Possibly with what RBA would be privy to, there may have been enough info for them to cut in September last year.

I reckon by they time they cut, the recession will already be here, the damage will be done and it will be all over bar the shouting until someone injects gov money into the system (deficit spends). If these parties play politics and go with the austerity game, it could get real nasty.

You are better and smarter?

What with your recent form you’re really going to try and claim that?
Kirky doesn't blindly support the ones who have destroyed our economy for 45 years and then say the side that has cleaned up the mess can't manage the economy.

You can't get much dumber than that.

Given you are considered the biggest nutjob on here, I’ll take your version of events with a grain of salt.

But I reckon anyone who thinks being hammered about your policy costings is a good strategy and then moves onto “Don’t worry about the costings, it will be alright” is right up there with you.

The biggest lie that has been perpetrated is that the Coalition are the best economic managers.

1975-1983 : economy tanked in 1982 and we had double digit inflation, interest rates, unemployment - the only time we have had the trifecta. John Howard was treasurer.

1996-2007 : the greatest resources boom ever and we basically we pissed it up against the wall with tax concessions and giveaways (which created structural issues for future budgets)

2013-2019 : doubled the national debt in 6 years in a world economy that was in recovery mode

In all their years in power they only had to deal with one significant economic shock (1982), thank god they weren’t in power in 2008 (GFC) otherwise we would have gone into recession like the rest of the world. They would have tightened the purse strings rather than stimulate the economy (yes, some of it was questionable but recessions are about mindset).

Yep, the imf rated Howard's years as pm, the most wasteful on record.

They have stated that swans reaction to the global finanancial crisis, is the playbook for future world economic downturns like that one.

And the greens, they voted time and time and time again for libetal policies that are regarded by the imf as wasteful and inept economic management. Yet stood in the way of productive labor policies.
