Poll:Best game in recent times

Hey! I'd like to give ppl the opportunity to vote for the best game in recent history which is from 1999 to present Ta!

Best Game...

Hmmmm....I'll start with the Bombers game in 99. That was one of the best games of footy I've ever seen, and is almost the only time in the last 7 years that I've walked away satisfied after a loss. Great Game.

Bit of trouble with a few of the others. The Game against Melbourne last year. 2 point thriller yes, but if I recall we kicked 11 goals in the 2nd quarter, were 50 odd points up and just fell in. Could possibly be the most emotionally draining game ever, but not the best!

99GF. Great result, average game.

2000 Semi against Hawthorn. It's taken me until now to appreciate what a good win that was. Seeing the way teams fold after an Essendon pounding brings to light just how good North were to bounce back the next week and beat Hawthorn. That was also the birth of the "new" gameplan, although it beats me why they gave it up after halftime and almost got beaten!

Collingwood this year. First time in a long time that it has been good to beat Collingwood cause they were "up". Gee it will be fun beating them in GF's soon (Ah, the 50's, 60's, 70's).

Brisbane last year. Don't remember this one too well.

Sydney last year. That was a great win. Really gutsy, although we tend to do it hard a lot of the time.

All in all (ironically) that Bombers game was probably the best, even though we lost it. Weird. But you don't get 15 goal 1st quarters too often!
