Mark Thompson should not be sacked.

Thompson proved last year that he is a good coach - Geelong finished higher than people expected from a list devoid of true superstars.

Geelong's list appears fairly even, but it is times like this when the more experienced players need to stand up.

If the senior players can't do that it is not the coach's fault, it is the players themselves.

That since rnd 8 last year
Geelong has only won 7 out of 23 games that Thompson has been charge (or something along the lines)
He has lost the players i suspect.
I've watched his face on the telly and it appears that he doesn't even know what to do. If this losing streak keeps going, then he should do the right thing by the club and resign.

Well, I wouldn't mind Robert Walls to see what he could with the list but he probably won't ever coach again. Mark Williams would be top of my list, but Port Power, wisely are offering him an contract extension, so let's go for .....

I know geelong like the back of my hand, and i could tell the blokes to kick to a loose man, not a contest, keep flooding the backline when we play clubs with tall timber like Essendon or Hawthorn, quit handballing the damn pill and KICK IT long or short but Direct.
Oh, and i would dump a few players like Milburn, Kilpatrick, Bizzell,
the Mooneys etc, and actually recruit a backup ruckman for King. Someone like Mark Porter would be ideal.
