POLL: Which nickname do you prefer for the new Gold Coast team?

Before anyone else votes for the Stingrays option, consider the following;
the press will always shorten it to 'stingers' - you know those invisible agonizing jellyfish
the logo will always look like a grandmother's face with her false teeth taken out
the logo could also look like sperm (as another poster has pointed out)
I have seen one ferocious looking stingray logo on one of the threads, but honestly, why would you risk rival supporters baiting you with 'flapper' 'jellyfish' 'guppy grandma' or 'tadpole' (and thats being nice)?

Support the Hammerheads name instead.
It is a more unique name, sounds awesome and a pretty darn good compromise.

It's what they want!! I wonder when the AFL will listen to it's supporters!!

It's at least how the news make out to be. Hopefully i'm wrong.
Anyway, official logo's will be out within the next week or two and then the voting starts again. We'll see if the Suns will be added to the short list. My guess is the new short list with official logos will include the Suns but they will take out Rays and Gaurds. I'm hoping they will take out Ironmen as well.

Weren't the hammerhead the team that they made a reality tv show about a few years ago? I don't think it's a very good name for the club

I'm not too worried. I just hope were not Rays, Gaurds or Ironmen!!
I can't wait to see the official logos and designs.
