Pretty amazing really.

Would it have been easier then to have won a Brownlow at a younger age? Young players wouldn't have required as much conditioning over multiple years as is probably required today. I guess it's offset by the fact it was a much rougher era.

Think akermanis had the best pure football ability, he was a freak and one of the most skilled and best players to ever play the game.

Voss was just a juggernaut and a remarkable captain.

Went akermanis if were basing it on just pure ability though.

I was too young back then and I've know he can boom the football a fair way with both feet. He had tree trunks for legs and was one of the strongest players and mercurial on the footy field.
