He got injured and when he was fit he wasn't performing well enough domestically to be recalled. Still was an odd decision, but somewhat understandable.

Thought Ferguson was in good from in Ryobi Cup last year?? Still he was incumbent and was superb before his injury.

Mark Cosgrove. Simply because we need a fatman back in the middle order somewhere. Too many scented candle lighting metrosexuals, and not enough beer-swilling, swashbuckling beastmen of yesteryear. I don't see how going to the gym has done the current crop any favours. Watson breaks down all the time. Pattinson may as well not bother. Tait the same. All the other bowlers after the last test. They need less personal trainers, and more beer. We dominated world cricket with the likes of Boonie, Merv, Tubby and Warne. So it's time for a fatman to come back.
